Tali looks great with her hair down. But being in the kitchen and taping shows the hair gets in the way. Beautiful lady inside and out!

Wow! I've never seen a rouge cooked down that much. I grew up in Colorado but have spent my adulthood in Hawaii and California. I'm 62 and still learning. Unfortunately, because I grew up in the Midwest, I only ate trout. Even spending the majority of my time in California and Hawaii, I have never liked lobster, shrimp, or any shellfish. I like trout, halibut, fresh tuna, cod, and Mahi Mahi. I just can't get myself to like shellfish. I do love sausage, though. I really want to like Cajun dishes, but so far, I still don't. Either way I still enjoy watching someone prepare it and enjoy it.

I can see adding a teaspoon of cinnamon to this. One question though was that a stick of butter or half a stick because it looked like 4 tablespoons not 8. The icing reminds me of making the old fashioned coconut pecan frosting for german chocolate cakes. We used to have to cook it before they started preparing them for us. This is now in my saved recipes.
