When I saw the OBNE announcemenf on Insta, I moaned "Oh, is that it? ANOTHER drive pedal? Oh well." Then i clicked on your demo because it's you, thinking: "At least Stefan will pull some epic riffs out if it." Holy crap do I love being proven this wrong. What an amazing device. 3 drives (4 really), parallel routing, delay/doubling controls, mono or stereo combinations, expression-controlled modulation thrown in... Beam Splitter is special. And then there's your playing, & that most triumphant track at the end. Your demo disproved my initial bogus response and revealed this pedal as a way to be excellent to each other. Party on dudes!

When you demonstrated the wall of sound, I had no idea my computer speakers could sound so good!! THAT is a fantastic sounding drive pedal. And of course, your playing and imagination show this off incredibly well. Cheers!!!

This was just another pedal to my ears until you started playing exactly the kind of music that this pedal is made to excel at. I know it sounds restrictive but that is now up to the final users. Fantastic demo and that song is just too epic to not be in an end of the world movie sound track or something.

A lot of these sounds remind me of using a Portastudio 4 track as a pedal. I took the idea from the band Medicine.

Is any one else getting bad hum from there beam splitter when its engaged?

Hey there Stefan, not sure if you'll see this, seeing as the video is a few months old- but I figured I'd ask it here, as this video is about that gnarly OD/Distortion. I've recently picked up a Revv D20 to use, of course, as a pedal platform amp. I noticed you used one for quite a few of your videos in the past, and though you don't usually talk too much about that end of the signal chain in these videos, I was wondering if you could give me any advice on how you'd set yours when using it with some higher gain pedals? I don't have a ton of experience with "pedal platform" (cleaner) amps, usually opting for the higher gain amps to start with. However I'm trying to get the most out of my D20 with something like the EAE Longsword in front of it to provide dirt. Any tips or tricks for using the D20 (or any cleaner pedal platform amp) with high gain pedals? Cheers from Canada!
