So hard to watch them get old. I wish they lived so much longer. I have loved and lost so many in my life. Thankfully Sherpa is still mobile and has a couple of years left in him. He is so special.

Poor Sherpy, his eye is looking a little worse again, but as long as he's in a good mood and talking to Dad, everything's fine.😊 I think Sherps was so busy processing all the smells and it's absolutely normal that he didn't have an eye or an ear free to see his friend Larry arrive.😜 Once Larry was there he couldn't contain his joy and I love the way he flattens his ears so much.😍 The sweet face puts a smile on everyone's face. The evening atmosphere with the fireplace is absolutely fascinating and calming.🥰 Have a great weekend buddy💙👊

Lord Sherpa is now like a fine old peer of the realm. He gets up when he feels like it and, after exertion and perusing the estate, requires a long recovery time and naps in the drawing room. Butler and personal Valet, Mr Larder, is in attendance at all times of course!

Your old husky and you have brought a lot of joy around the world at a distance. Helped quite a bit through some very emotionally and personally tough times. And I thank you. And of course the Batdog, we haven't seen him in a while...

Memphis does this, we have now figured out, she just has selective hearing. . . hahah

I feel you, Sherpa. As I get older, I'm getting harder of hearing (and vision, but my eyes have been bad since I was little), and I really understand the value of naps. 😁 (Funny, as a little kid, I fought against taking a nap. Now, I value each and every nap.😂) And my elderly (b)rat terrier said she agrees completely! (She says she's still kicking around at around 100 in dog years, so she's rooting for you to get there, as well.🥰)

My 15 year old Husky-mix is going through the same changes as Sherpa. Every day with her is precious.

He may not see, smell, hear or move as well as he once did, but he's still a great talker, and a better sleeper than he's ever been - which goes to prove that sleeping is an art. It takes lots of practice.

I couldn’t stop tearing up during this video. Seeing my own sweet boy Nemo growing old was one of the hardest things I had to witness. What hurt the most is that we couldn’t give him all the proper space and comforts that he deserved before he left us. But we loved him so dearly. There was a point in our lives where he was the only family member with health insurance. I watch Sherpa and I see that old boy …and I can’t help crying just because I’m reminded of that hard time, but also shed happy tears to see him so content in his beautiful home with a dad willing and able to drop everything for him. Thank you for sharing, Jamie. It’s good to see you both and be reminded that pure, gentle love still thrives

Just received Sherpa’s book. It was supposed to take 2 or 3 weeks but it came today. The story is wonderful as are the illustrations, a story, not just for Christmas but with a moral for everyday life. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👍❤️💙💜

Sherps being suspious of Jamie is cute. Its really good to see how well Sherps has done in the past year & to see he still has a zest for life although at a litttle slower pace apart from some days whr Sherps still thinks he's still a pup, plus all the extra talking he does. I love seeing Sherpa going on his walks. My 15 year old husky collie cross has decided walks are a bit much. She has arthritis, in fact she has had it from birth. Poor baby. But she's excited every time we ask it she's ready for a walk. Lasts all of about 15 minutes.
