I was in the USAF Security Police/Law Enforcement back in the late 80's. I got teared up seeing the K9 Cemetery. I'm so glad they are keeping it for our furry warrior K9's. Thank you

My dad was with the 6922 security wing in the middle 60's. He used to supply the mp's with german shepard pups for several years. I remember building each kennel on 11th place and helping with the birthing.

Thx for the video! I attended Wagner Middle School back in 90-91. Your walk through brought back memories! Those long hallways used to have lockers on both sides and the CR’s should have been at the end of the halls. I remember walking to school one morning and a branch from one of those gigantic trees broke off and nearly hit me! We left Clark Air Force Base a year before Mt. Pinatubo erupted. Salamat po!

I remember Wagner elementary school well, plus I did the pick up and delivery of furniture for all on and off base housing in ‘76-‘77. You’re right Brian, pictures don’t do justice for those amazing trees on Clark! Thanks for bringing back some good memories.

I attended Wagner Middle School in 1982 and your stroll through the halls brought back memories. I saw a number of my old classrooms as you walked by them. Amazing. At 10:57 your camera was pointing in the general direction of the footpath and bridge that acted as a shortcut for pedestrians walking back to the housing area. It spanned tall grass and a ravine at the time. One day after school I was walking from the left there to the bridge and almost stepped on a cobra. Fun times.

Oh wow. Thanks for posting this! Flashback! I did 6th and 7th grade in these Wagner Middle School buildings way back in 1984-1986. Honestly, they pretty much look the same and haven't changed much. Great thorough walkthrough you did. Appreciate it.

Green city sounds like an exciting development with a high speed rail link to Manila----it gonna take a few years but looks like a decentralisation project to ease the pressure on Manila. Will be a great area to live with an international airport and road and rail links. Angeles and Subic will really go ahead Thanks Brian

Thanks for the good video. The beginning is the wagner jr high school and adjacent to that was the wagner sr high school. I attended the very first school session there for 7th grade, after it was finished construction. Isnt it strange that they paid to build those villas but dont have anyone living in them? Someone must have alot of money to burn. It might be us taxpayers, who will have to bail out the banks who lent those builders the money?? I'll be very interested in what the real estate agent tells you.

Here is the something to consider about condos, if you ask a salesman about them the salesman is taught to tell you that there is only two left and they are selling quick. This gives you a sense of urgency to buy and this is the most common tactic in the world and really is used everywhere. US, Europe, Russia, PI, Thailand.....everywhere.....cause if they told you that they are 20% sold you would wait but if they say they are sold out but 2 left you gotta buy! Well it is a lie and the lie works and it actually works too well.

Presold sight-unseen condos recently have become a big issue...especially in Cebu. It's often speculators trying to get into the AirBnb business. Driving hotel operators crazy AND creating artificially and grossly inflated housing prices for the locals. A huge bubble is forming and it's going to be ugly when it pops. Cebu will be first...over-development fueled by speculators in a city with scary-inadequate infrastructure...waste mgmt, fresh water, storm sewage are non-existent. A nightmare waiting to happen.

Yes, and what will it be like for the few people living there when things depress? You can see what might be the future by opening google maps sat view and looking at the area about a mile east of this location - within the fontana property. Ive been looking at that area for years and can finally see it better because google's street view becoming available (much appreciated). Some of the new properties are occupied (one, two and three stories high) while many are not. Most of these have their own swimming pools ion back. This street view shows some of the three story units completed years ago but look abandoned. tinyurl.com/ClarkHousingUnsold
@qawwss2000
@qawwss2000 5 жыл бұрын
Another note: The area where the hilton and those row units were built on top of a brand new golf course that i photographed when visiting there in nov, 2000 - Called the true north golf course.. The course hadnt opened yet and i watched the progress with the google satellite views. Looks like it was abandoned before it opened. Is that whats going on with those luxury units in the tinyurl link in my last entry? I'll be watching. Hope someone can go there on the ground because how that area develops might be an important subject to be aware of? It could be the same story for all? Hope not because i'd like to live there someday. Another street view of same area (place) tinyurl.com/ClarkHousingUnsold2
