OMG, I just watched this video and it brought back memories. I grew up in NH and had that same snowblower. I used to get up early and do driveways for extra cash and I remember my dad say "You'll do our driveway first before you do others, and you'll pay for your own gas!" LOL...loved that old snowblower.

I think one of the reasons I like this channel is the stories that go along with things. I am on a kick right now where I am trying to see all the snowblower repair vlogs. My favorite one ? The one where you drive the VW bus up north from your parents house and it craps out in the snowstorm. I think I’ve watched that 3 times now. Great story.

Years ago....in about 99...I was in the last Monkey Wards in NW Indiana before it closed for good. They had about 35 pcs of lawn equipment left...mostly returns....mainly 20 push mowers 12 small tractors and 2 snow blowers. My friend and I bought them up for 10 cents on the dollar. We spent a 2 weeks going through them all and made a $$$ killing.Almost like selling USA Farnicastaffs....easy peasy...!

That engine was made on July 29, 1976. The first two digits of the code denote the year, the second two digits denote the month it was made, the third two digits denote the day of the month it was made, and the final two digits denote the plant and assembly line it was made on.

I can't believe that people just give stuff like that away, but I guess that Wards blower isn't worth a ton anymore anyway. It ought to make a really nice minibike engine for sure, maybe take a bit to free it all up but it probably has no hours on it, I mean the guy couldn't be bothered to cover it and looking at the oil it probably hasn't run much since you last worked on it!

They must have used good paint back then. When I saw the motor from a distance I thought "Tecumseh?" Then I saw the fuel tank and I thought "Briggs." Then sell it for twice what the motor cost you. Profit!
