Hiked this one with my love Matt Douin. He is not a frequent hiker but stuck it out for me on this. I let him pick of course, though I think it was harder than he anticipated. Old Speck, Grafton Notch Maine. 2,750 ft of elevation gain, and 4,170 ft at the summit. The fire tower allows for awesome views on a clear day. The Eye Brow trail adds some interest to the hike with wire cables and metal rungs. This hike is considered hard but in my opinion is more moderate hard do to the fact that it has a lot of PUD’s and flat sections that offer relief as opposed to a relentless ascent. Highly recommend this hike!

Always remember to hike safe. Pack the ten essentials and be prepared for emergencies. Never underestimate the weather in the mountains - bring layers + jacket and a shell even in warmer weather and turn back if the weather gets too bad.
Happy Hiking!
