When we arrived we had a quick talk with the storage unit manager, and found out that the previous owners had been there, and they were looking to buy back the entire storage unit. Problem with that, is that 70% of their stuff had already been sold! This one is crazy!

Wow so much money, I wonder if the people who collect change do so for the same reason I used to do it when I lived withy family. They all earn more than me, but they want to play keep up with the jonses, so they borrow money from me, and I practically have to beg in order to get it back, saving change puts them off asking for money because they have to either Carry it, or take it to the bank and change it.. Good idea or what?

I think what you guys and other storage guys should take all the stuff you can't sell like bathroom products, clothes, food thats not expired and other stuff and give it to the homeless. That would make a great episode, I know you guys are all kind hearted and like to do something nice.

Started watching your videos a little while ago... at first I wasn't to impressed. I like a treasure hunt so I watched a few more of them and as I have I've developed a new found respect for you and your wife. First it is awesome to see how well you two work together and enjoy each other. Next it is pretty cool how you give photos and personal stuff back and then your $1 garage sells with all the free stuff and giving back to kids has absolutely turned me into a fan. I still think somethings you should know what they are, then I remind myself that you are very young and only wisodm and age would help you on that... All in all I want to say that I am impressed with you both and wish you the best of luck with your future buys and auctions.

I lost a lot of family heirlooms after my ex refused to pay for the storage unit that had my stuff in it because he was using it to try to extort money from me. It was in his name, so I couldn’t access it. Lot of precious stuff gone, including some of my childhood toys, almost every photo of me as a child, and almost every photo in existence of my parents and grandparents, most of my children’s old toys. Really sucked. :(

We just load everything back after recording. It take too much time to do that while going through the box...it throws off the flow of the video

I have used storage several times. You have to get behind for several months before they sell it. If you are having financial problems they will usually work with you and give a little more time. They can't just let it go forever, and this way, they dont have clear out all the stuff. Many people move away and just leave the stuff. Some people died.

I kinda feel bad for the people but then I remember my brother and his wife stealing everything they could from us and my kids and I feel better about things going to places they're wanted. And not as just something to trade for drugs! The units that have the tubing and CPAP stuff, THOSE people I truly feel bad for. At the same time .. not so much. They knew what was there. If they died, they don't need it, if they didn't .. they knew and didn't come back.
