I would call that a lambs foot,which is broader at the base thinner at the tip.its an old English pattern still used here quite a lot.nice review sir.atb paddy

I ordered this knife after watching, and it just arrived. I doubt anyone could say that you aren’t getting great value for your money with this knife. My copy is perfect, and I mean it. A great non-threatening work knife.

I've got one of the originals. It's a Taylor Brands LLC import from the 1970's. The bolsters are brass. The covers are avocado green delrin. The tang stamp on one side reads "ELK HORN SURGICAL 1980. On the other side reads "TAYLOR CUTLERY JAPAN". The shield (brass) reads "ELK HORN" and has a simple scene of a mountain, trees and water. Blade is stainless with a faint "SHARK" etch. Neat little knife

Got mine today. Really nice pocket knife for sure. I like this oddball big. Pins I can hang a towel on. Add to it. Fits in the dash compartments in my brown 79 renalt .....

Schrade has a newly designed Lankshark that is mostly black. I'm so glad I got one of these, in case they discontinue it. Maybe I'll collect both of them. JfOH

That's a nice one. Paddy would call that a lambs foot. Head is smaller than at tang. If the head was larger it would be called a Ram's foot. Equal blade width all the way down the length of blade = sheepsfoot. At least that's the way I understand it.

1818. I’ve been looking at this one. I like the notch and the angles. Such a weird design for OT, no? I’d like it better in bone or wood covers, but the classic Delrin is okay, too. There’s one on eBay by Taylor in bright blue, and some really bling ones is glitterati.

I have this knife love it and the company history, mine came really scratched up on bolsters, polished to improve, my bolsters are brass? Shop told me it is?
