Great informative video. I like New World styles for casual drinking. For example, I enjoy the fruit-forward profile of California's Pinot Noir to drink on its own and I also enjoy the structure of some of South America 's take on grapes such as Carmenere from Chile or Malbec from Argentina. Having said that, I also enjoy specific Old World wines ike Chianti Classico to pair with Italian food or a Bordeaux from France if I am eating a protein-heavy meal. In that sense, it depends on the kind of experience I am trying to have or what food I am pairing it with.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, very well said! Taste is definitely subjective. Some people prefer the nuanced, complex, and often subtler flavors of Old World wines, while others enjoy the bold, fruit-forward, and approachable style of New World wines. We also don't have to choose between the two, end enjoy all of it instead! Ultimately, neither Old World nor New World wines are inherently better; it comes down to what you enjoy and the context in which you are enjoying the wine.
