Oldest Space Marines That ever Lived - Excl. Dreadnoughts/Chaos/Fallen

The Space marines, the best of the Imperium, the angels of death, they are something else entirely, they are better than a normal man in literally all aspects. Aside from their 19 bio enhancing geneseed implants, superhuman strength, speed and reflexes, they also age very slowly and can live for hundreds and thousands of years. While it is stated that most battle brothers would barely live beyond two centuries given that they would most certainly die in battle as only in death does duty end, there are some who have managed to overcome all odds and defy death for countless generations. So, here in this video we will showcase the 10 oldest space marines who have ever lived, excluding the ones interred inside Dreadnoughts, excluding the Chaos marines who are blessed by chaos, also not including the proto primaris who were kept in stasis for over 10,000 years. Dante isn’t even in the top 3 for your information.

Cool thing about the axe of morkai Is that it is actually a khorne demon axe that Logan re-forged so that just shows how awesome he is unless they axe is slowly corrupting him

If we're talking all over the board then Zabriel is the oldest space marine, he was one of the uncrowned princes but he was also one of the fallen. I know they dont count but it's a cool fact that he was part of the first 5000 space marines ever made

Being in the warp is nothing Ike status ....he could be in there for what seems like two months or 50,000 years but all that matters is that when was still moving,not locked in place and time but the only time that matters is how long has passed in the real world

Barabas Dantioch. True his age was artificially induced - but honorable mention I think. As he sort of acted as a stress test for how old marines COULD be. As far as I know he was never touched by chaos either.

Retcon yes but as far as retcons go it’s not that deep, even in old lore the imperium was so backwards and shit at administration that a lot of chapters/ records are inaccurate or lost so that fact being wrong is not surprising

They also took his unique wargear, THE Inferno Pistol (Dante's Inferno, get it, GET IT?!) and made it a standard bit of kit. Like, if you'd like there to be a melta pistol then just call them that and let the Inferno Pistol be a unique item. Why ruin the pun by spreading the name around like that? Also I'm still pissed about back in 5th when they made all power axes initiative 1... So Dante, the fastest goddamn space marine alive at like I 7, faster than most eldar characters was striking LAST

Same. I always wanted to check it out for years and a family member got me to try the tabletop game. Painting the models and strategizing how to build am army to play with is SO much fun. You should look into it. It is expensive but there's 3d printing and used deals on ebay, boxes/combat patrol sets etc..

Excuse me? Logan wields what? In his hands is the Khornite axe of Morkai. A trophy he earned during the first war of Armageddon. During a fight with a world eater he lost his own weapon and was forced to rip open the chaos marine’s throat with his teeth, claiming the axe as his and using it going forward. Although it is demonic in nature, he has never had a problem wielding it from his steadfastness. Ragnar Blackmane wields a chainsword named Frostfang. It’s not a power sword or anything but it is the sword he uses.

There are quite a few Space Marines in general that have gone to five hundred years or more. In the novel Dante, he had a sergeant as a neophyte, Galileon, that had trained new recruits for half a millennium, as just one example. I'd reckon the typical age of a veteran in the lore is a few hundred years at least.

Nice Video but "The Armour of Russ" is not Terminator Armour and not worn by Logan. His armour is "The Armour of Asvald Stormwrack". and Frostfang is Ragnar's Sword. Logan wields "The Axe of Morkai", an axe made by Khorne taken by Logan from a champion of Chaos and reforged!

I had just started to comment on frostfang and the axe of morkai and saw i was beaten to the punch. I erased my comment and i am glad that others noticed that error as well. The narrator also got bjorns age wrong as well. Bjorn was active during the great crusade as well and is in excess of that. Bjorn knew the emperor and was on the same battlefield as him as he states to the grey knights and the inquisition. He even mentions that he thinks the emperor was fond of him.

Leetu. L2. One of the oldest by far as a marine prototype. Alpha primus. About cawls age, cawl is 10,000 years old from a single personalities perspective, he has many personas. Id say hes closer to 25,000 years experienced. Bjorn. 11,000 or so. Fought during the heresy, has spent most of thenlast 10k in dreadnought slumber. Abadon. Hard to say, all those alive from the heresey have spent somkuch time in the warp. Also consider enter wsrp the year 41k. Spends 1,000 years there. Emerges in 43k. 2,000 years pass. They enter the warp, spend 10 years there emerge in 47k, huge loss in real time plus a huge jump ect.

The warp doesnt auto speed, sometimes it slows too, or backwards. Marines have entered the warp today, lived a year and emerged yesterday.

Skipping through the ages does not mean he's 10 thousand years old. Talos, from the Night Lords books was a Heresy veteran. But he says more than once he aged only around 100 years since the heresy.

In fact, one of the oldest ones is Merir Astelan, one of the fallen. As he says in one of the books, he was one of the first 20 legionaries ever produced. Although, he only emerged in the galaxy in the M42

You can't really use the fallen or in fact any chaos marines in relation to age as the warp is all over the place. For some in the eye it's only been a few days since the heresy, for others its been 10,000 years.

Warhammer is the next big IP and has the potential to carry on extremely successful for literally decades. Gravius and Bjorn both served during the great crusade, which lasted about 200 years and there were no space marines before that, so there's that little mistake.
