As a guy who has lived in England all my life , for me Fury sums up the kind of moronic arrogance that screws this country up at every turn. Fury is the Boris Johnson/Donald Trump of boxing.

Usyk is the product of a well-oiled machine! The rematch should also be intriguing. In the H. Fury-Pulev fight, H. Fury and P. Fury had to change the game plan. As P. Fury has always stated, it is all about executing the game plan first. It is not first and foremost about scoring points and getting knockouts as those are just merely by-products of the game plan. When H. Fury was cut, he and P. Fury decided to go for the knockout. It was a big departure from the original game plan but they had no choice as they knew the referee could stop the fight at anytime due to that cut. Going for knockouts should be done out of necessity. Going for knockouts should never be the sole or even primary strategy due to machohood and bravado. This is what Peter Fury has said for many years. Yet Sugar Hill and T. Fury were citing this for these reasons only. While T. Fury is known for talking bravado just for the sake of talking bravado, Hill is not. He was dead serious when he said that this fight would be a chess match for sometime and then T. Fury would catch up with Usyk to knock him out. Hill really wanted T. Fury to make a statement like that by knocking out Usyk. The only statement P. Fury feels needs to be made is for his fighter to get the clear and unquestionable victory. T. Fury's victory over W. Klitschko was boring and unexciting. However that triumph was clear and was not subject to questioning. Boxing is not about being macho. It is about using both aggressive and conservative methods to win and also about countering those methods used by the opponent. Peter Fury has pretty much expressed this over the years. There is no one other than him who can help T. Fury come up with the right combinations of thinking and doing, acting and reacting, and complexity and simplicity for the entire fight.

Was it not Peter Fury who said in interviews that if Tyson Fury wanted to win, he would have to take the fight to Usyk but he would have to employ a variety of jabs? Yet in that fight with Usyk, Tyson Fury only used the long jab followed by the uppercut and occasional hook. Because of Tyson Fury's physical attributes, that plan worked for him the first 6 rounds. After that Usyk caught on to that simplistic plan. He was then able to react better by countering immediately with a quick left hook or with a quick right jab followed by a left punch to Tyson F.'s body. As I said before, Sugar Hill was too simplistic. Andy Lee also did not have much of an impact in developing a comprehensive game plan, and John Fury's rage negated anything he may have contributed. I am not bashing John Fury because I believe if it was not for him, T. Fury would have lost that trilogy fight with Wilder.John Fury is the one who said that Tyson could not rely on aggression alone to beat the American. Again Peter F. said Tyson's game plan would have to be varied in interviews namely because Usyk is varied. Apparently no one watched his interviews.

Usyk deserves to be named alongside the greats. Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and now, Oleksandr Usyk. It’s great to see an ATG in action and to see what the former generations saw during the 70s, 80s and 90s, an hall of famer and all time great.

It is just as well that Peter Fury formulates the game plans of his own fighters. No one is really heeding the common sense and logical advice that he gives. I am just a boxing fan. I am just a novice, mush less an expert. Yet I was appreciative of the fact that he had the foresight to state that certain things had to happen for a T. Fury victory or a "train wreck would occur". What he said was not "rocket science" but it did require thought. I do not understand how anyone can think Usyk could be knocked out in 7 rounds unless his opponent lands a lucky punch in his mid-section? The man lives in crude barracks in remote "ice villages" months before fights. He is so mentally tough because of this. He could be knocked down repeatedly, take a bashing, and yet he would still only get more tenacious and determined as the fight goes on. I wonder what Tyson's accommodations were. There is no doubt he too is mentally tough. After all look how recovered after the 9th round. However there is a difference between trained mental toughness and natural instinctive mental toughness. One can be coached and one cannot. Again If I remember correctly, Peter F. said something very similar to that as he stated that a fighter needs both to win a difficult fight. It was Usyk's preparation that got him to go all out and all in. He was trained to get going when he was getting hammered. I wonder what mental toughness training Tyson received in camp. Did he live in such austere conditions as Usyk? It is hard to say but I think I have my answer.

I didn’t doubt Usyk despite Fury leading the fight on points at a certain stage as he was ‘downloading’ his opponent’s fighting style in the first half of the fight which seems to be the is the Ukrainian style.

Fury from the start reminded me of his first fight with Wilder, full of feints trying to confuse and nullify his opponent, didn't work 100% but wasn't terrible. Round 4-6 Fury looked like himself in Wilder 2/3, just being on the front foot and bullying his opponent and honestly it looked like fury was gonna cruise to a win when he's like that, it's incredibly hard to implement your own game plan when a huge fella is coming at you like a freight train. But 1 punch is all it takes to change everything and that's what happened. For the people saying why didn't the ref stop it or things like this... go watch Fury get chinned by Wilder and get back up. No one on this planet would have gotten up from that punch and yet he did and came back to go on the offensive.. That's why Fury was given a chance, because he's done it before and I'd say has earned the right to prove to the ref he's alright. And can I just say.. Fury was out on his feet.. completely gone.. but some how was still trying to slip punches... it was honestly awe-inspiring.. how many other fighters have you seen do that? The sheer will and determination, he used every fibre of his being to stay in that fight.. and the likes of Johnny nelson after on Sky has the gaul to say "he wasn't motivated enough"... unbelievable.. Congrats to Usyk, not only did he have his own pressure as an individual, he had an entire nation to represent. I'm just wondering if Tyson now he's had a fight Usyk, will he come back and be the bully like in Wilder 2 and 3? who knows? will I be watching? yep. Good Video as always mate 👍

After all the bluster that Fury utters about be in the best of all time and no man born from a mother can beat me etc it was always going to be hard for Fury to admit he lost. He either had to claim Usyk was born by immaculate conception or concede Usyk was a better fighter on the night. So he went with the “I thought I won” line. Typical Fury. Apart from that and the Usyk got sympathy from the judges because of the war in Ukraine that someone in the Fury camp claimed (was the you again John?) it was a great fight and both men can be proud of their effort. Very happy to see Usyk undisputed, even if it wasn’t judged to be a ko.

I believe the referee did a great job in handling round 9. He gave Fury the benefit of the doubt for as long as he could (which should be the case in all title fights), and only stepped in to administer the count once it was clear that the ropes were the only thing keeping Fury upright. The rules state that a knockdown is scored if a fighter is being held up by the ring when they would have otherwise fallen down. Great job not calling a stoppage, but still recognizing a count should be administered because the ring was the only thing keeping him upright. My scorecard had it nearly even. The deciding factor being the 10-8 round to give Usyk the win. Either 114-113 or 115-112.

I gave Fury round 4-6. Couldn’t split the 12th so had it a draw. Clear win for Usyk. Shame Usyk didn’t get the KO in the 9th or a UD. He deserved the win and the prestige of being the undisputed HW champ 🥊

CONGRATULATIONS OLEKSANDR USYK 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✊🏽😀👍🏽 Badluck T.Fury. I scored 1 & 2 Usyk, 3,4,5,6,7 to Fury 8,9,10,11, & 12 to Usyk. Very technical 1st few rounds (nervous Fury), Fury landed good body shots 4th & got confident winning 5,6 & 7. Momentum shifted back to Usyk in 8th & Usyk won rest of rounds IMHO. NEVER seen Fury hurt so bad b4. Almost saw stoppage but was still 10/8 rnd coz Fury got 8 count. GREAT ENTERTAINING & HISTORICAL fight IMHO 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✊🏽😀👍🏽

Fantastic fight both men deserve all the credit. It was a spectacle worthy of an undisputed heavyweight fight. Tyson boxed brilliantly but Usyk is just that special. With Fury being dropped in 3 of his last 5 and with 8 knockdowns in his career to date is it safe to say his punch resistance if not yet his recovery is going if not gone?

I’m absolutely gutted that Fury lost but I’m happy it was Usyk that came out on top out of all the contenders. He was definitely the underdog but he did it. Congrats to the Cossack.

114 -113 Fury is a disgusting scorecard. I had it 115-112 Usyk. Thank goodness there was no controversy.

I had 115-112, but change two close rounds around, and that's 114-113. I can see it. Luckily there was no 117-111 card

I had it 117-112 to Usyk but with two even rounds, give them both to Fury and it’s still 115-112 to Usyk. How anyone gave seven rounds to Fury is a stretch

Big congratulations to Usyk, I thought the judges may give it to Fury because it was a competitive fight but I'm glad it went the right way(in my opinion). The count for Fury was good, a lot of people are saying the ref 'saved' him, but if not for the ropes, Fury would have been on the floor which is exactly what the rules state. I want to see the rematch, I think Usyk will stop him next time.

After all the back n forth the last 7 or 8 years about who will be the heavyweight of this generation. Fury, Wilder, Joshua, I don't anyone could have seen this coming

Gave Usyk the early rounds. Fury was playing to the crowd whilst Usyk got straight down to business on front foot and landing clean punches. When Fury found his range (rounds 3-6), I thought he was going to break him down but Usyk adjusted again and dominated the second half of the fight. Had it 4-3 Fury after seven, but by the final bell had it 8-4 Usyk, plus a knockdown. 116-111. Yes, a couple of swing rounds could have gone Fury’s way, but I simply can’t see how one judge gave that to Fury. Not a chance.

What an exciting fight!! Yes first 2 rounds definitely went to Usyk. I thought from 3 onwards Tyson was in control until the the 8th when Usyk found another gear and beast mode! All Usyk till the 12th where I thought it could've gone either way! TBH am not upset with the decision and now can't wait for the rematch to see how Tyson will adjust & correct some of his tactics to ensure he gets the W over Usyk next time round 🎉❤🎉👏

I thought the ref STOPPED the fight. That did not look like a standing 8 count at all. it may have been how loud it was or how much time he took to begin counting, but i was shocked. Fury was wobbling around like a bowling pin on ice skates 5:30

i gave Fury 4,5,6, and one of the later rounds. i forget which it was because after the KD and the ref confusing the hell out of EVERYONE and doing his best to keep the fight going even if Fury died on his feet, I STOPPED SCORING. It was as if the writing was on the wall. Thank god what was written was not what I anticipated 1:28

I had it quite wide to Usyk in the end. I had Usyk taking rounds 1, 3 and then 7 - 12. I scored the 2nd round even and gave Fury rounds 4 - 6. Obviously there were some rounds that could have gone either way. I thought Fury's comments about them giving it to Usyk because of the war were really disappointing. Especially since he gave Wilder so much stick about being a sore loser and here he is doing the same thing.
