They're not minors but they're very young and young people make lots of mistakes and are still learning and they need experienced adults to guide them. The people responsible and should be held accountable are their STUPID ENTITLED SELFISH parents who are teaching them that this is the way to get what you want in life. Even if the kids knew about it and are'nt interested in going to college, it's their parents who provided the funds to pay for their education and pushed them to do so.

Personally, I’m most surprised at the extent these super rich people went. They Photoshopped their kids’ faces on real State qualifying athletes, cheated on the SAT (which is hella illegal if you read the fine print before the test), and schemed elaborate secret bribes when they could have pretended to be pro-education and publicly “donate” money to these Universities instead. Yes, bribing is wrong and it always happens, but what they did was just stupid.

Lucy they DEFINITELY knew because Olivia poses for a photo showing her rowing and then it was further photoshopped to send in so that she could get onto the rowing team. So yes, she knew and intentionally engaged in the fraud.

Alot of these kids of celebrities dont care about an education. Their privately tutored most of their youth and teenage years (and mysteriously receive an A+ by the private tutors) Then they think college is the time to be an adult and party all time.

RS W no it doesn’t, but it’s comparable. Affirmative action gets kids who are NOT as qualified into schools just because they are from a certain minority block. This is inequality, yet you don’t see the media caring when many qualified applicants are turned away solely due to them not being from a certain minority block. Affirmative action = discrimination

Well they certainly knew they either didn't take the test themselves or they knew they didn't get th actual score that their test was changed to. They would have had to know they knew nothing about the sport they were drafted to and that they had never done the sport, not to mention the F.B.I. have phone records/recordings of the students on the phone discussing the plan with their parents and Stirling about what was going to happen and how they would benefit by it. There is zero chance they are not involved just as much as the parents.

They can make a TV appearance for a few minutes and earn thousands from it, while an average person has to work for a month or more for that money. Anyway, that's not the point. The thing is that those rich people who committed this crime bought the place for their kids at that university while they had no qualifications for it. They STOLE the place of someone who worked and studied hard to get into that university.

Nothing more satisfying then seeing rich and famous people knocked from their pedestal.
