These look like a great option. I just wish they had gone just 1% further and implemented the grip on the jaws. Not that you need it with a wrench so small since you won’t be using it in high torque applications but it is a nice touch. I think I will end up with a set of these. The only other ones I’ve been watching are the gearwrench but I’m still on the fence about them. I’d love for Milwaukee to come out with a stubby set of their own design as well

I have a set of Capri stubby wrenches but no flex head on them. I plan on getting some stubby flex heads, but I need to get some XL wrenches beforehand.

Looking phenomenal!!!! I’ll definitely grab both metric and SAE sets. What is your opinion on Olsa ratcheting wrenches vs the Gearwrench?

I'm interested in their unique head architecture. Clearly, stubbies aren't designed for high torque,but I'm curious how their standard length wrenches compare with the other big name brands.

They look nice, but I don’t know if it’s something I’d get or not. I’ve got the GW standard flex head ratcheting wrenches, had em for about 8 years. I rarely use them, though they have come in handy a few times. If I get stubby wrenches, I’d probably get regular reversible ones. So are they not the same as GW? I figure a lot of their stuff is made at the same factory (such as the indexing pry bars). If they’re different, I’d like to see/hear more about it. As far as the Doyle pliers, those and the Icon are the only ones I’d get from HF. I’ve got several of the Doyle’s And they get the job done. As far as I know, the slip joint are the only Chinese made ones (rest are Taiwan).

It's funny you mention Knipex. I got my first set of Knipex pliers a few days ago. I love em so far. I havnt used them as much as I thought I would but the few times I did use then they were great

I'm still up in the air on what to replace my Gearwrench garbage stubbies with. I'm mostly torn between Facom and Icon, but I did notice Olsa's. I've never been too keen on their hand tools though, I dunno they just never really did much for me.

Untrue, early 90s channel lock was making " parrot head" pliers. They were great. Channel lock dropped the design after a short time.

I agree the obsession of tooth count has gotten way to far out of hand. It's just a marketing scheme

I ended up with a pair of Doyle 10in adjustable pliers I can't say they are horrible that being said I still can't bring myself to allow them in my boxes lol

I got these as my first set of stubby flex head because the price to wrench ratio was good. Fast forward to a few months ago, I had a situation that called for an extremely stubby 10mm, so I removed the wratchet portion off of my wrench to get the job done. It worked like a charm, but I could not for the life of me put the ratchet back on since there was a little spring inside the screw that I could not get back in the hole. I essentially had a floppy flex head at that point so I messaged Olsa about my situation. Asking if I could send it in and get a replacement. They ended up 2 day shipping me an entire new full set of the metric stubby flex heads all for one 10mm wrench that was my fault for breaking. I ended up swapping the 10mm but gifted everything else to my dad who was happy because he didn't have anything like that in his tool collection. I like their wrenches but I was honestly impressed with their warranty. I'll be looking to them for future tools.
