I have still yet to connect it but I think I’ll run it off the intake manifold. Right now the tube is just resting off to the side and in the engine bay, I’m not too worried about it because we tested the valve and it’ll still release under 35psi just from the spring alone.

It is a stock om603 but it has the 3.5L om603 head on top of the normal 3.0L om603 block. Stock everything internally, nothing been changed. It has changed timing from 14 degrees ATDC to 9 degrees ATDC with the 140cc 7.5mm dieselmeken mechanical pump. This motor happily takes 25psi and I’ve redlined the motor at 5.5/6k rpm - I need to post a video on that. It’s running an hx35 turbo with an internal waste gate but I’m not even using it - I have a boost controller and kept turning it up more and more everyday for more power and the motor still craves more. I also have a huge intercooler and I feel that alone makes a huge difference in boost. Before the intercooler, the turbo would push 35psi but now it shows no more than 20-22psi flooring it with max boost setting. I am pretty sure it’s the displacement of the intercooler helping lower pressure yet keep a better flow of air. Overall, om603 with 140cc 7.5mm and hx35 is one hell of a fun project.

@@Turbo.Teutonic thanks for the reply. The intercooler is absolutely key. I'm planning on a liquid cooled setup with a separate reservoir and cooler to keep it as dense as possible.

Not yet, no. I haven’t had the time. Plus, I just bought a w210 om606 turbo that is gonna get even bigger upgrades so I’ve been brainstorming all of that recently

@w124om603 nice is it dangerous to leave wastegate open? I routed my vaccum line from vaccum pump to the turbo wastegate lol I have a boost gauge is it going to damage my engine?

If you don't have a solid motor then yea it will, but it's safe to say you should run a boost controller for cheap

The first line goes to the wastegate of the turbo, the second line goes to the boost solenoid for the injection pump, and the third line goes to the boost controller that I hadn’t setup yet
