Yeah i was so bummed out when i did all that work and didnt get to testrun it properly. The outside ALDA smoke reducer i think contributes alot (you can spot it when i install the starter, its the same type and modell as most internal-waste-gate actuators you would find on turbos). The black smoke generates tons of heat and thermal stress on the engine, so even if it looks cool it does not equal power as many do belive.

@@Foffe2000 Yes. I saw the external ALDA. How much range did dieselmekken give you to adjust in fuel with the external ALDA?

@@cullenmiller8170 if i remember correctly its two allen-bolts adjust screws, One is max fuel when theres no boost present, and the other one is max fuel with boost present and the alda adjust the range and its allen bolt the upper limit of its travel (in this case 2,0bars)

Du är observant Erik, Ja det är väldigt mycket dödgång på gaswiren, Är en gammal W116 gaspedal utan pedalgummi eller nedre gångjärn. Vid förra videon då ja återmonterade motorn kollade jag att den drog på fullt, men kan mycket väl vara värt att kolla en gång till så inte nippeln på wiren glede bakåt

i think it was in episode one of that build i noticed that my engine actually did have the oilsquirters and i was glad and confused why this engine had it being a NA, if it wouldnt have had it i dont think i would have the machinery to even try retrofitting squirters onto the engine.

Hello David, Thanks for the nice comment. The injection pump is a mechanical N/A pump from a OM603 that i sent to Dieselmeken here in sweden, who fitted it with outside ALDA and their 7,5mm elements, the cost for this upgrade was about 1000 euro and you do have to send in your own pump to them. You can see me fiting this pump onto this engine in some of my older youtube-videos.

i bought them from some swedish site, they rarely have them in stock. www.acm.se

there are some older videos where i go trough the engine, h-profile rods, new bearings and piston rings etc. No crazy big modifications on that engine

They are bought from ACM.SE a swedish site? Look for mercedes and just plainly rods and you will find them, they order in a few sets per year so its not certain that they have them in stock now

dont quiet get the question. The engine is a NA om603 with pistion squirters and new H-profile rods. The rest is stock. There are more videos of the build of the engine.

dont know, new clutch so i shouldnt stress it to much before its seated so i jumped to 3-4th gear before full throttle. And i dont have a speedo in the car yet.
