I know the feeling. You make friends and form bonds through any game, with the stuff being disconnected, those can almost, if not completely, disappear. So it's good you can meet friends again both current and new.

Love videos like this. Love seeing some behind the scenes of the staff that make the games and support the games. Its easy to forget that actual humans work at companies. I also love seeing people who really care and love the game be able to help the game grow and help in the design process. Keep the corporate board room out of it. Let the people with passion for the game make the decisions. I'm new to the game via My Hero Academia because of my wife and daughter. The game is fun. So many different play styles to choose from. I can't make the Las Vegas event and i'm super bummed but events closer like Kansas City, Denver, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Lincoln, Omaha I should be able to attend. I used to travel for Magic the Gathering tournaments and now I will do the same with this game. Best part is my daughter will join me this time. No game grabs me like a good card game. No other game genre can match the pull for my attention. Shane definitely has had an impact for me and inspires me to play, learn and soon make my own videos to help spread the word of this great game. I'm the TO and judge for my Premiere status LGS. We are going to be holding 4 prerelease events that lead into regular constructed/sealed/draft events each week. One of the coolest aspects to this game is that every LGS is a dojo and at the larger events you can have dojo v dojo rivalries. Could have events were each dojo assembles a team and all the dojo's meet to compete against each other for tournaments. It works because this is a fighting game in card form. Very Karate Kid like.

March 2006, noted. I actually had trouble figuring out when the game came out, cuz early cards have 2005 copyrights but so did stuff in like set 3.

I haven't been able to play events with MHA yet but I did face off against a Wiess Schwartz player online, soon after the american release, and they were card counting and knowing all their odds like I was in 2006. I was genuinely impressed and I think the newcomers have a real shot.

Awsome vid dude. Hypothetical situation (it's something that I think could come up with such an influx of new players) player a played an attack and plays their first enhance. Player B says "just play out your enhances" player a starts playering through their enhances. As they go to pass enhance to go to block oppo goes "I play X enhance to return to printed" player a states they can't as both had passed where player B states that they were not given an opportunity to play an enhance before the last enhance was played. As a judge how would you rule that as technically player a should have offered the enhance but we're told to just play out their enhances however player a may have sequenced their enhances differently had they not been under the assumption player a wasn't doing anything.?
