Having just subscribed, I wish to compliment you on the quality of your videos ! I am further impressed at the standard of your grammar, and as a teacher, at your perfect spelling. Aircraft is not that old, it’s just the seats are outdated, but looking at the cabin ceiling, looks pretty similar to newer A330s, especially the mood lightings giving it up a facelift. The actual old A330s are the ones manufactured in the 90’s and early 2000s featuring rectangular and bulky cabin ceiling which looks pretty similar to A340-200 and -300 series

Thanks for your comprehensive review. It's so refreshing to see someone producing aviation videos with good manners these days. I wish more people filming their flights were as polite and nicely dressed as you are. Referring to another comment, when one is paying high fares or using a substantial amount of "points" to purchase First or Business Class tickets I expect them to want the service that justifies those fares. By doing so one is not automatically characterized as a " spoiled brat" but rather as an objective reviewer. I was quite impressed with the lounge. It is actually the best lounge I have seen anywhere on any airline. Take care and I will be looking forward to your upcoming vlogs. 👍🏻 💯.

Was there no caviar service offered on this flight? And what was the deal with the business class amenity kit? Are both of those things only offered on the 787 F flights?

Exactly no caviar. I know they serve it on their London flights which are shorter too.

Pleasure is all mine :) And yes! They should definitely try to at least get the same first class seats on this plane.. I know they refurbished some business class seats with the Apex Suites, but not sure why they cant do the same for first class :(

I think the tableware is gorgeous. My only criticism is, First Class passenger should be escorted from lounge to gate.

I would agree. I did not see that much difference in Etihad First Class as to Business class, and their Business class service has degraded, while the prices have skyrocketed. Maybe that's why they can claim that they had record profits in 2nd qtr 2022. No reasonable price in 2022.

Correct masks were not mandated during my flight out of Muscat :) Strongly advised, of course.

I'm afraid that Emirates and Qatar Business Class outdo Oman Air First Class in almost all regards. The First Class check-in agent tried to wave you away to the Business Class lines. Entering the First Class lounge with a mop bucket in the middle of the floor was embarrassing. As you mentioned, the seat and entertainment were second rate products. If I'm going to splurge on a first class flight, paying double the price of an already costly Business Class ticket, I'd expect an outstanding experience. This was definitely not outstanding.

I respectfully disagree. I have flown Singapore, Emirates, Oman, Etihad business and first class. EK is in my opinion the most overhyped and under-delivered airline. Putting WY in the same sentence with EK is an insult. I agree that the old WY A330 may seem dated, however the service, food, and comfort of the seats outperform EK in every regard. If you think A330 is outdated, go try the WY 787 J and F, they will blow EK's non-F suite products out of the water.

We know that you travel first class may also eat at fine dinning restaurant but please don’t put you hands in the middle when a server or attendant serving food. The server or the one accompanying you may not like that because it’s against the etiquette on a table.

This airline is fairly an average airline, still better than most US and European airlines tho, kinda like air canada. Still, we have to admit that the aircraft is fairly "old".

Looked just fine for Business class. But for first class poor. Bit like Emirates they are also poor. What is it with Arabic air lines??? Good lounges, bad once in the air. I've had better food and seating on EVA Air business class. Good review though.

You moan about the seat so much but never really said how comfy it was. Your bottom distracted by the B787 mistress. You are still young and will learn from not having your expectations dashed, but rather find a gem, or at least something that goes the country mile All the best.
