Join me on this 6 hour hop across Asia from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to the hub of the boutique carrier Oman Air in Muscat. I will be flying on Oman Air's newest and flagship first class offering onboard their B787 Dreamliner fleet. How does my experience onboard their Dreamliner differ against my previous review of their first class offering onboard the aged A330? Watch my review to find out!

I love BKK airport. The people are the most friendly in the world, bar none. Large, open spaces; and the food is off the hook.

Thank you gor sharing your trip. Your onboard First Class cabin area with the cabin crew looked very.The Flight Attendants gave upu great service there. The pajamas looked nice along with the amenity kit. Yes, champagne is always nice to treat yourself with whether in the lounge or onboard. I am glad you asked the cabin Flight Attendant about the vintage year if the champagne!!! Nice touch!!! Well, I hope your travels for the summer will be just as good. Fly safely always.

thank you for your presentation. Oman Air looks extraordinarily good, on par with Emirates and the rest of the world's top airline services. However, still nothing compares to the new 777 Emirates First class suites, with floor to ceiling walls and uber spacious 1-1-1 layout. Oman First Class is on my radar now, so thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks for your comment David! I agree 100%, the seat is much nicer in the new 777 Emirates first class suite (you can check out my review 😉). The only issue is that still there are only 9 aircrafts fitted with the new suite and no real plans yet to expand its availability even though it was released some years ago... Also, the on board experience for me was better with Oman Air. Hope you get a chance to try it out!

Thank you for sharing ypu trip here. First or Business Class on long-haul flights is always good to get some relaxing rest. And going to the lounges before and after trips are nice as well.

Nice, comprehensive review. I was quite impressed with the phenomenal ground service and the lounge amenities at the Bangkok Airport. Oman Air's Business Class is quite good but the First Class service is certainly in the top tier of international airlines. I would love to experience it someday 😊. Only 2 out of 7 787-9 fleet have first class, but they fly regularly to London and Bangkok. Hope you can enjoy it!

That is a beautiful and classy Tank watch! Very fitting for a first class cabin. Is it one of the newer models? I once stayed at a hotel that had toiletries made by Amouage and they smelled fantastic.

I believe there is a rumor that with Oman Air entering OneWorld, they have cut the cord on the availability. That being said, there's usually favourable pricing on Oman Air out of Europe to SE Asia :)

Yes, a lot of Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi has only 1 jetway. This makes it very difficult to board planes for business class ticket holders once the economy passengers start to board.

Didn't even know Oman Air operates first class😆 Great champagne😍 The FA didn't encourage you to go caviar all the way? Last time when I was the only two passengers on CX first The FA was very accommodating, those were the days.

grab or Bolt is the way to go in BKK,the taxi drivers once again have gotten very aggressive with their "How much you pay?",if going to Suvarnabhumi I just take the train from the BTS.

I think for stock verification purposes, they need the physical bottles. You can ask for the cork tho!

It’s such a shame that no US airline comes anywhere close to this level of service, quality and style to those of Asian and Middle Eastern airlines. And even if you get food, it’s often mediocre all at once on a single tray.

With the price of a First Class flight, the best that Oman Air can do is someone for you to follow all over the airport? All she needed was a yellow baseball cap and a follow-me flag on a pole.
