I worked in Oman from 1989 to 2007. Loved the country side the wadi and all the Bedouin people. Loved eating mabsali dates and khallas. Loved the halwa made in Nakhl. What a paradise in the oasis. Stunning and memorable experience.

I've never had a chance to say hello to someone in Qatar, Hello from Washington state, USA! The western world needs to know more about the history and people of the middle east, we learn barely anything in school here and I think that ends up contributing to the problem of racism, overall. I enjoyed this documentary, what a beautiful place. Peace and cheers from the wet and cold pacific northwest.

Tranquillity is what defines the hinterlands of Oman . Be it the endless deserts, vibrant mountains or the pristine beaches there is serenity all around. The people are extremely welcoming and rooted in their culture. A realisation that nature reigns supreme can be felt while traversing even the most remote wadi.Having travelled across some of the beautiful landscape all i can say is a prayer - Stay Blessed Oman ❤️ 🙏

Masha'allah! What a wonderful glimpse into Bedouin traditions that go back thousands of years. The first time I saw a falaj, I had to climb into it and paddle - much to the enjoyment of the locals :) I am married to an Omani and although he was raised in the cities of the Gulf, he is never happier than when in the desert. I was disappointed a little that we did not see the amazing skills of the boat builders of Sur... maybe next time :) Bravo and Mabrook for such a wonderful look at this country and their traditional ways. Water is life.
