Showing on the wrist shots with your smaller wrist size helps others with smaller wrists make decisions. The internet is full of those with large wrists so you are always doing those that need it a great service. I have even smaller wrists at 6.25", along with a few other youtubers with very popular watch channels. This video helped me a lot, thank you.

It's normal being self conscious about yourself and it's also good to talk about what you're insecure about. 6.5 inch wrists are not that small. I've heard the average male wrist is 7.25 inches. Enjoy your beautiful time pieces.

Good choice! I haven’t seen many reviews of the 38mm Speedmaster. I also just looked at the mid-size Seamaster online, but it is 36mm. I’m thinking that might be too small for a dive watch.
@lotsofrobots14 жыл бұрын
@@sc1 I have a 36mm diver (Oris) and I feel it's just a bit too small for a diver (even on my 6.25 wrist, which is why I ordered the Tudor...). I think 36mm is a great size otherwise, but on divers the face of the watch just looks really small inside the bezel. I think Omega also makes a 37.5 Seamaster and a 38mm Seamaster Aqua Terra (which I would really like!)...

With my slender wrist, I'd go with 36mm but seems that Rolex would be among the only options. Speedmaster 38's a great looking watch, I wish it was a couple of mm thinner. Anything above 11mm looks weirdly disproportionate on my wrist :/

Hi, thanks for ypur post! coming across this after returning a black dial racing 40 mm for this model, I like its simplified dial, size and think these bezel tips are brilliant, but its 3330 movement isn't an inhouse, also eyeing a 38mm Aqua terra black dial with a better movement is also on the same price range so I dont know.
@sc12 жыл бұрын
I sold my 38mm Speedmaster. Just recently purchased the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Hesalite, and I am much happier with that. I am thinking about adding the 38mm Aqua Terra Red Dial, whenever my AD gets it in stock.
@TariqAbdul122 жыл бұрын
@@sc1 Thanks for your response, are you able to provide feedback on your overall ownership? My only issue with the aquaterra is i am unsure if it can be my daily driver and its not as sporty as the 38 speedmaster.
@sc12 жыл бұрын
@@TariqAbdul12 Certainly, I just felt the 38mm Speedmaster was too small for a Sports Watch/ Chronograph. I also didn't like that the bracelet had almost no taper, and I did not like the butterfly clasp. The new Speedmaster Pro solved all of this. It's larger, the bracelet tapers aggressively, and the clasp is much better. I have small wrists, but I like my sports watch to be big, and my dress watch to be smaller. I agree, the Aqua Terra might not be versatile enough to be a single watch collection. Ideally, you should pair up the Aqua Terra with a Sports Chronograph or a Diver.

@@TariqAbdul12 late to the party, but I will say I have an AT, and the shiny bezel has the potential to show a lot of wear, as well as the polished center links... it's not the best daily driver for that reason. I have a little scratch on my bezel- I have no idea where it came from, I've really babied that thing. That said, it's a gorgeous, classic timepiece and will probably hold on to mine forever.
@bighands69 Жыл бұрын
6.5 inch wrists are not small and are on the large side of a medium frame. A 38mm watch is a large watch and it looks small on your wrist. Most commenting are just stupid.
@sc1 Жыл бұрын
Need to take into context the hand size and forearm size (mine are small), but yeah a lot of people are making arbitrary reflexive comments that 6.5 inches is too small. In actuality, It's within range of a majority of men's wrist size.

Has the aluminium bezel faded as it does with time? This is the only reason I’m stopping myself from buying it.
@watchpronometer68984 жыл бұрын
Hey I got the light blue version. The bracelet is kinda disappointing. But it does actually taper...from 18 to 16mm. If they made it 19 or 20mm lug width that wouldve been way better. A tip u may enjoy: reverse the clasp manually so the animal symbol is upside down. I find that it feels more natural and easier to put on the watch this way. U can try it first by wearing ur watch upside down.
@sc14 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the correction. I didn’t actually measure the bracelet and I didn’t notice the taper, but if I look close I think I can see it now. Either way I wear it, I still think it is annoying opening up the bracelet with that extra step to open the other side. It’s just not as smooth to open as a Rolex. The bracelet itself is not that bad (unless you are expecting an Oyster or Jubillee), it’s just the clasp is not optimal.
@watchpronometer68984 жыл бұрын
@@sc1 yeah, they are called butterfly clasps....dont know why they even exist lol. There may be an option. On ebay, they sell a bracelet for the omega reduced for only about 100. I might order it but I have to find out if it will fit the speed38.

@sc1 Жыл бұрын
Oh, yes, the case will definitely fit well on your wrist. Just be aware that the bracelet has a very negligible taper, so it gives the illusion that the overall watch is bigger than it is.

? I see a mans forearms and I really cannot see that your wrists are any different to anyone else. Stop worrying about it . The watch looks good and it’s been far too long that we’ve been subjected to what are often vulgar and ugly oversized watches that often looked like a plastic arcade game . The watches of the 60/50s were tasteful and beautiful and weren’t desperate to be seen by people . So wear that smaller watch with pride !
