First Orbis Speedy review on KZfaq. It took long enough! Shows how rare this watch is. It’s. Really cool piece

I love the intro "thanks for logging on" He makes me think I exclusively came on the internet to watch his reviews

The black version, that doesn't have the ovals is the nicest in this range.

Didn't know the story behind this one, very cool. I imagine it will look very retro in a few years.

Si14 on the caseback is interesting because I believe the antimagnetic properties was what was special about the "Master Coaxial" nomenclature for Seamaster. But the dial on this watch only says "Coaxial". [Coaxial -> Master Coaxial -> Coaxial Master in present day. Master Coaxial is the same as Coaxial Master just without METAS certification]

FYI that watch doesn't come with extra links so you have to order them separately. They are like $350 a pop from omega.

Be careful if your buying online. I recently purchased this and I needed to buy 3 extra links. Beautiful piece tho. Just waiting on the links.

The ovals fit into the fact that this watch celebrates what ORBIS is doing as a charity - a flying eye hospital. But I do agree my first impression of the ovals wasn't great but the more I look the more I find it aesthetically pleasing.

38mm,little bit small for men
@mohammedtaqi52592 жыл бұрын
Too small for my medium size wrist, it would have been ideal if they had this watch available for 40mm and above. 38mm is now days women size. And the thickness is 14.9mm which is over the top but a very nice timepiece, only got problem with the size. Other then that timepiece is beautiful.

Most women wear 36mm or below. Some women could surely pull it off but it's more for smaller guys like myself as I have a really small wrist and I'm also a small guy but a larger woman could also wear it no doubt!

Ovals ... 🤢
@BourbonInhibitions2 жыл бұрын
I get why they did the ovals but it is such an eye sore no pun intended. And the teddy bears...awful. Paying almost 4K for a non see through caseback? No thanks. And the bear being on the seconds hand is another awful design decision. Such a shame because everything else about the watch is spectacular.

Styling and teddy bear aside, to me this is an criminally overpriced version of Longines or Jazzmaster chronographs using a Movement from same Eta parts bin. But It doesn't look as good as those watches. Not to mention that it's a pathetic rip off of their own Moon watch representing a Fake moon landing. Based on Fake or real events, that other watch at least carries cachet. This one is a $5k mutation. Roughly $3.500 goes towards a Label and Logo that was acquired by a huge sweatshop owning a dozen of other Logos and names of extinct companies that Haven't existed for many decades.
