Couldn't have asked for a better reaction to Tsukki's moment, some reactors actually missed Tsukki's scream because they talk over it or make hype noises, but ya'll locked in and actually silenced yourself to hear the majestic battle cry of the Moon.

Fun fact. Tsukkis VA wasnt allowed to join in on any other yells or team huddle rallies. This was his first. So he really went all out 😂

Haven’t seen a lot of people mention this but the Voice Actor for Tsukki was told to never cheer when Karasuno makes a point. So when this moment came the VA put his everything into that scream. Gives me chills everytime!!

24:26 never heard a truer statement. i've said it so many times over the seven years i've known haikyuu!!. this story is so incredibly loved by its author. it's apparent by the research put in, the resolution every character gets, the life messages for the characters and readers in every corner of the story. it shows how much was put in to make this masterpiece of a story. i always said that haikyuu is not like other sports anime because at its core it's about people. life. passion. motivation. change. growth. amazing show. i've been enjoying every moment of rewatching it with you guys

No matter how times I’ve watched it on my own or introducing to someone else, no matter how many times I’ve watched it through a reaction, no matter how many times it comes up as a clip on my Twitter feed, Tsukki’s block and yell gives me the same chills that I had the very first time I watched it. I cry nearly every single time. I loved Tsukki from the start, mainly because I love sarcastic blondes but I could see the potential in him from S1. Slow burn characters will always be my favourites of all time and Tsukki is very high on that list 🌙 Your reaction did not disappoint in the slightest. Haikyuu is my favourite story of all time and it’s just such a great feeling to watch you two be soo invested. You just totally get the spirit of this story. You guys have such a great vibe and charisma on screen and you really are some of the best haikyuu reactors that I’ve seen!

Man this vid had so many moments 😭😭😭Ange giving Carlie room to shout for Tanaka, Ange watching at Carlie saying Shiratorizawa, and am so glad that you guys actually heard the moon-cry! If you guys remember, Nekoma's coach said "do you want to just get better, Karasuno, or evolve?" And then "everyone at Karasuno is evolving, except for one person" pointing at Tsukki but our middle blocker came in clutch, he evolved, our crow evolved!!! When I saw this in haikyuu, this was where I fell in love. And the final point of this match, that's where I absolutely devoted myself to this anime! Love ya both!♥️♥️✨

Living for character writing appreciation!!! It is insanely good. And you talking about the author loving their characters is so spot-on - while I don't remember them ever talking about it in any interviews, that's something the fandom brings up very often, because that's how it comes across, and it is incredibly wholesome. The 2x24 final rally OST is SO good for working out. Haikyuu is great at motivating people for some healthier lifestyle changes, even more so later on in the story, so I hope it helps you keep up and find the routines that work for you!

I was 40 years old when I watched that Tsukki moment, and I had tears down my face. I am glad you did justice to the scene. Another great moment: 8:48 that Shiratorizawa chant sure is catchy ey? This chant is right up there with "Let's go, let's go, let's go, Dateko!"

I always thought it's because of the block because tsukki is the very first blocker who blocked him. It just showed that they screamed after him because he was still having his moment. I think they screamed together with him at the same time. Not because he cheers, but because of the amazing block itself.

By far my favorite moment in haikyuu. Tsukkis pay off is so great in that moment and he finally got to shine and have his moment in one of the most pivotal parts of the match. The difference in 1-1 and 2-0 is massive

Just a fun fact that makes this episode even better. During the voice recording sessions of Haikyuu, up till this point, Tsuki's voice actor was left out of every cheer the team did up to this episode. This was done intentionally to ensure that when this scene came, the voice actor's held-back and unadulterated emotions could come through hundredfold when he could finally cheer with his team.

In this episode all of us wait to see the reaction to Tsukki's block. In my opinion, it is one of the greatest moments in this anime. However, I don't know if anything can top Tsukki's reaction to his block. I've watched this episode many times. I've watched reactions to this episode even more times. Tsukki's moment NEVER fails to get me hyped, emotional and GOOSEBUMPS ALL OVER MY BODY. The flashback to the camp, combined with his usual "It's just..."-phrase before is JUST SO GOOD. Tsukki's relationship with Kuroo going forward, is one of my absolute favourites.

Battle of Concepts is really highlighted in a lot of ways the entire game including blockers. Shiratorizawa is very straightforward and offensive-focused team. Even their middle blocker Tendo, despite Blocks being a defensive tactic he puts it to offensive use because his style isnt just guess blocking. Tendo outright likes to shut down the blocks along with the guessing and it gives him the satisfaction of seeing the other player’s face when he totally disables their spikes. This is contrasting to Tsukki whose blocking is team focused. His classic “one touch” calls because he can rely on his teammates to recover it as he softens the opponent’s spikes. Then with Ukai’s, Bokuto’s and Kuroo’s coaching, Tsukki’s instincts allow him to time the blocks with the other members accordingly to corner opponent spikers into hitting towards Noya the libero. There is the hype episode (well, pretty much every Haikyuu episode is tbh haha) and your reaction, and the detailed aftertalk, were great as expected as well! Love it how Ange constantly tells Carlie to relax, because he is hyped himself and is trying to calm himself in the first place 😂 Also that high five was splendid, you go Carlie!
