Thank you! I greatly appreciate it. I printed them for every size helicopter that I have as some models aren’t as easy to pull the motor leads and this way you never have to worry about it spinning up!

Thank you! Full nitro set up as in what? IKon set up video? I’m about to start a Nitro RAW 700 build series and a Trex 700 nitro rebuild series. So there will be a much of nitro videos coming!

Jeff, in 3D bank, put your agility at 65, and go in advance menu and put your roll and pitch rate at 350. Up your expo to -25. Raise head gain to 35. Get the headspeed up on that heli. It likes 2600-2800 rpm. After you fly all out, go back to advance menu and raise the P gains on aileron and elevator about 5 points. It will come to life. This heli is way too slippery at 90 agility and 420 roll and pitch rates. I’ve played with settings for two weeks. I’ve seen you fly. Try it there and see what you think. Save it for IRCHA and I’ll rip mine with you too. I love this heli.

Hey Justin, so I’ve changed a bit of things since this video. I mainly leave the settings stock for setup videos then tune to my liking after. It’s definitely a good flying heli, does feel a tad heavy at lower RPM range but that’s 13.5 degrees of pitch. I’m sure running more pitch would help at that lower RPM. I’ll see you at IRCHA!

Question, I have been following alone with the video’s building and setting up the M4 with a Brain2. Currently on the swashplate setup menu. Problem I’m having is I can’t get the servos to go the right way. Iv used the servo reverse button but no matter what the closest I can get it pitch working correctly but left/right is forward and backward and forward/backward is left and right. Have you seen this before? I triple checked the servos are plugged in correctly and everything is moving the correct direction in the transmitter setup menu.

Okay, so you have everything plugged into the right ports? If looking at the heli from the nose, servo 1 is the front Left. Servo 2 is the back servo and servo 3 is the front right servo? If yes then make sure you select the right orientation in the software, and if all of that is correct, then reverse the pitch in the software where it says reverse pitch. I did not need to do that but things can change from unit to unit. Make sure everything is moving in the correct direction when you are done before you fly!

Thank you! So my preferred radio is, of course, the IX14! And my preferred FBL unit is the iKon! Incredible combination and unlimited tunability, and set up between the two

Is it possible to set Channel 5 as Flightmode and Channel Seven (Aux1) as rescue? I only Have nx6 and Not as much Channels as you Have

could you have used a servo centering gizmo at the start to find center? then the rods would not of needed to be adjusted.

No, center of the Servo is completely different than adjusting the linkages. You need your service to be at 90° at mid stick and then you would adjust your linkages to get your swash plate level and neutral at mid stick.

I would highly recommend the spectrum NX8 transmitter. It is a great radio at a reasonable price and will do everything you ever need it to do and you can grow into it. I am a firm believer. In buying the biggest radio you can afford because trust me you will need it lol personally, I would stay away from openTX/EdgeTX radios like the TX16S S or jumper. For the main reason of their complex set up a learning curve, compared to a spektrum transmitter.

in brian philips video, he put a bubble level on the tail and set 0 pitch for the heli frame at 0 degrees,opinions? also why did you only check the positive pitch? not negative pitch?

No offense to Brian Phillips, but he really has no idea what he’s doing and should not be making a video about it. You don’t use a bubble level to set your swash up, he was not in servo setup and was sub trimming to set the model up. Not the way you do it. I do set negative pitch. Start 15:00 and watch.

@@montytipton14 so the reason for that is because the FBL mounting plate or motor plate is the most level part on a heli. When I built my work table I made sure it was 100% level so I could set the leveler any where and I know it’s 0.

@@westhobbiesrc8051 ok, my goblin fireball has some crazy ass tilt to it, like so much so that i have never been able to set it up successfully, can’t get my swash right since linkage aren’t adjustable just a shit model - that’s another story

Hi Jeff, Ive come across a problem where when I stick rudder servo into my 6250hx and select 333hz, the servo does nothing, even after testing its functionality on a servo test

@@westhobbiesrc8051ok well i fixed that issue by turning the servo up to 560hz, now I have a problem where Im not sure the tail control rod ends got seated all the the way in during the janky ass epoxy step which gives you little to no time to somehow measure the number they give you. Any ideas.

No, lol if it was a Goosky issue, I would never of made videos from the beginning on the M4. Weather has been terrible and raining every day. No maiden flight yet.

Unfortunately with a 6ch you have to give up rescue or selectable flight modes if you put the tail gain in the radio. You really need 8ch to use all features.
