According to a D&D Wiki, a group of goblins is called a malignity. A "mob of goblins" is another term for a gathering of goblins.

I understand the Tolaria play Veggie. Last summer at LOTR command fest in Orlando, you used my Rohgrak/Yoshimaru deck and played Hammerhiem, its ability doesn’t get that much usage… But it is a legend and it does buff the Goodest Boy.

Jim says he’s not a commander player but has a real good grasp of the attitude one should have playing the format lol. BTW soul sisters are kill on sight for me . They may not seem like it but in a deck that is using them they power the engine and are amplified in commander.

creatures tap whenever they get regenerated. :) Krenko couldn't attack because of that.

Not quite accurate. Regenerate gives a creature an ability until end of turn where if they would be destroyed they instead are tapped and removed from combat. Unless the Krenko would die it doesn’t become tapped

Amalia is genuinely one of the favorite cards in my collection. I run her in the 99 of my Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher deck. It has been suggested by people that I should try moving her to the command zone, so I'm curious to see what Nerdgirl brewed up with it. Also, love seeing Jim Davis on the show, this is bound to be an awesome game. Spoiler below, don't read if you haven't watched. Edit: As expected, Amalia is super powerful. Just wich Cruel Celebrant was on the field when 17 tokens died lol

I read the hobbit and the lord of the rings as a punishment during spring break I ditched engilsh which was my last class of the day, got caught and that was my assignment during the break. I had to turn in reports on all four a week later of get a zero test grade. That was a week of hustle.

First time watching one of your matches. Is there an unstated rule about not running targeted removal for creatures? The turn 1 Sou's Attendant should have been a priority for removal once Nerd Girl started dropping payoffs for life gain.

There is no rules. Just happened that no one had any. One for ones in commander are not great. So we build with less of them.

Airball, I first read the Hobbit and the Lord Of The Rings back in 1967. The first 20 pages of The Hobbit is slow. The first half of The Fellowship of The Ring is a bit boring. The second half is really good and so is The Two Towers and the Return of the King. Sorry Veggie, it was another game where you did not do that much. Jim, you're Goblin deck is very very good. CONGRATS NERD GIRL!!!! I was rooting for you. Thank you Nerd Girl, Jim Davis, Airball, and Veggie Wagon for the video.

NerdGirl not quite as big of a nerd as I thought, tsk tsk. There are a bunch of new books that Christopher Tolkien published that cover a lot of the same material found in The Silmarillion, just generally easier to read. That said, I love The Silmarillion and I didn't get into Lord of the Rings until after the first movie came out. Loved the decks but wish we could have seen Veggie and Sarumon do a bit more!

Always slightly disappointed when there's such a mismatch in power, and one deck just gets to do whatever while the rest are picked off one by one without ever really threatening that player. The goblins popped off but never made an impact on Nerdgirl.
