Love the incorporation of the On18 line into the On30 operation. Things like that seem to be more rare but in my opinion also make stuff that much more interesting too.

Thanks Calvin!! During the planing stages of this module when in mock-up I thought it needs something more, hence the 18" line was added and I'm pretty happy how it came together+it adds another operator to the layout when its all together and running. Enjoy your video work !!! Rich White

Even if you set it up on a shuttle circuit its something else that adds to the layout. I am working on adding an 18" line to the club layout module i have too as it makes it more interesting. In a way it makes the layout almost self-sufficient in a way too.

Thanks Ken! If your talking about the upper 18" gauge ore cars they are all scratch built over N Scale trucks.

Rich, What is the overall size of that layout? Seems like you've fit in a lot in a relatively small space.
@richwhite43316 жыл бұрын
John the overall size when finished will be 13'6" x 7'5" comprising of 6 individual modules. Four Modules have been completed with 2 more to come. Those final 2 modules will each be 45" x 18" and will make up into a Gold Rush town on a steep hillside called Mt. Bullion. The Moccasin creek module is 6' x 18" as is the Payless Module, the Caddis Creek and Carson Hill modules are both 3' x 18" Thanks, Rich

Thanks John, The overall size of the modules are 2 at 18"x36" and 2 at 18"x72" with 1 more module planned which will be 18"x72" and Yes there is a lot of detail packed into the modules. Just goes to show you how much detail one can pack into a small space with On30.

I like your on18 line what track are you using for it
@richwhite43316 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I just spiked down some regular Atlas N-scale flex track, sprayed it with a nice dark brown color and tried to hide as much of the ties as possible with gravel.
