Randy hijacking that challenge "FREEZE ACE FREEZE!!" is one of the most brilliant moments the show has even seen. Very clever.

Randy is so unique because it's literally a comic relief of survivor villian. Just grumpy person who is mean by nature and have really tragic backstory. I really want production to cast people like this again.

It's funny because the more I got older, the more I relate to Randy. Back then he pissed me off, but now I look back he's actually pretty funny

There was a very nice scene with Randy talking to Matty that I wish you included. He mentions his dog and talks about himself and how he gets along with people, and people either get him or don't.

Randy is one of the most unique characters in survivor history, in one of the most unique seasons of survivor history, he was very entertaining to root against, wish he made it further in HvV

Randy is probably my favorite character to ever be on Survivor, I love Villainous grumpy people who just don't care and embrace it and Randy's a perfect example of that.

He’s literally Eustace, the old man from courage the cowardly dog

I also won't forget that Randy was the one, who foreshadowed Rob's alliance downfall in HvV, after they voted him out instead of Parv.

I'd be grumpy too if had to live in a camp with the Gabon cast lmao, I'm glad all the good characters took control of the game tho

I love school yard pick twist. Needs to happen all the time, in my opinion. And frankly every season should be casted close to Gabon.

Randy is so unlike most previous villains in that, there's almost no good qualities to him shown on the season. Even Judd and Shane had some nicer qualities shown with Shane's son Boston and Judd with his wife.

When i rewatch old survivor some cast members i used to love definitely dont age very well. Like watching russel get paranoid and throw tantrums isnt very fun in samoa after your first watch but Randy is hilariously evil on every watch of Gabon and i adore his grumpyness

Randy is an archetype we need back. I don't want Survivor to be All Stars level unpleasant, but the modern era is too nice. One token asshole per tribe is the right balance.

They try to cast archetypes, but Randy is one of those few in history who are their own archetype.

TIL Randy was from Missouri, about A hour and a half from me. Did a little research and Outside of the much larger states like California, Missouri has really represented well. who Can argue with a lineup like Randy, Coach, Heidi, Twila, Tasha Fox. plus a few other early boots.

i thought about an idea that would be cool if you did a video on it. from the 1st survivor to 42 jeff probst changed so much. do a video of the evolution of him. how he narrates, how he talked to different survivors. i feel like he was so reserved at the beginning and now well hes kind of over the top.i cant afford to be a patrone. but have watched all you videos. i love them! keep u p the great videos.

Fun Fact: Randy was actually considered for Fiji and Micronesia, but he was ultimately not chosen. Imagine what he would do in both of these seasons, especially Micronesia, where my theory is that Randy somehow makes the merge but he is taken out by the Black Widow Brigade. The final two also happens to be Amanda and Parvati. Imagine what he would say in his jury speech 😂

You know it’s funny I really hated randy when I first saw him however now I love him it’s funny how people grow on you then I realized this is just an act I’m sure randy is a really nice guy in real life & I think most of his meanness was just an act I personally can see myself ending up just like him someday

Dude Randy is a douche at times but like a fair few of his “villain” moments I’m just like “but he’s right though” especially the early ones. That said while his king speech is iconic and I actually felt a little sorry for him when he said a woman hadn’t come onto him in 20 years, that speech about Crystal running the tribe like a gang was some blatant underlying racism. I find Corinne to be way nastier as a person and Crystal is useless in the challenges though.

being honest Randy was one of the best people for this cast as he is literally the truth to the lies really given all the other people are shit or fake, Ken for example is a simp and if he was called out for it he would deny it 100%, Crystal is a clown that thinks she is a saint but she isn't Sugar is a mad woman, Susie is just unlikeable and Bob is just Bob. the only person there that was similar to Randy is Corinne which Ironically to me at least those 2 made the season better than how worse it could of been

These videos so far reminded me how dumb it was to vote off Dan instead of Susie especially in a 4-3 vote. Idk if part of it was to split up Dan and Randy since they were friends going into the first team swap. Though if Marcus actually makes it to f3 and brings Corinne and Randy as goats, I think Dan and possibly Matty vote for Randy as jurors.
