BRO, wtf is going on here? You started on day one, barely knowing how to shift your weight and hips, and 30 days later you chillin' in the OAHS. Respect!

I like how real this is. Despite having a crazy progress during those 30 days, some days were somewhat off and it seems like you couldn't make a OAHS hold even if the day before you were holding like 5-6 seconds

I'm been playing around for a few years with oahs. I like to hold a stable bar with right hand . Balance with left arm. Get position right then let go with right hand and grab again if I shift . I can do 60 seconds. 10 second intervals is easy . After a few months or years it gets so easy you forget it was ever hard . I dont even think I'm cool anymore . It's just like a 2 arm handstand

@danfonkats9761
@danfonkats9761 2 жыл бұрын
@@winghangmak2477 I think, one is ready to practice OAH when one is able to hold HS at least 60 sec, as it means that your HS is stable, so you don’t waste the attempts by just falling down. I personally started training OAH when I could hold more than 1 minute. And I believe that different variations of HSPU also could be useful for OAH, because it strengthens the shoulders, obviously

@@danfonkats9761 6 days ago I started using your approach and today I just reached my first 5 seconds holding the OAHS. I hope by the end of the month I can hold it for 10 seconds. In the past, I didn't like to train OAHS too frequently due to the risk of injuring my wrist or shoulders (thing that happened before) but now I'm taking all the precautions before doing OAHS like very long warm ups and using wrist wraps. Thank you again for motivates me to keep training OAHS!!

@@danfonkats9761 Hi, today was my 26th day doing OAHS. I am still stuck on 3-7s. Because I have a busy schedule, I can train OAHS only for 45min to 1h30m per day. I don't understand what part of my hand I have to put my weight. Every time I put a little pressure on my pinky I start rotating. Also, I try to do more corrections using my elbow while keeping my should high up but it is still very difficult to keep balance.
@raider394
@raider394 Жыл бұрын
@@user-hy4sz8lx5z one mistake i saw i was making was not giving myself time to stack my hips over my shoulder, elbow, and wrist which caused me to over rotate and also not keeping my arm locked and leaning with my shoulder rather than my hips

@danfonkats9761
@danfonkats9761 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I think at the beginning it’s doesn’t metter, which arm you train, because in any case one arm will progress better and faster than the other one. So I just felt that I could do something new and I didn’t want to change it. At that time I have just been trying to do my best in 30 days. But of course, after achieving different variations of OAH I will train the other hand.
