I had to suffer terrible ingrown hairs and acne from close shaves (despite being done carefully and treated with products) or I had to suffer stubble trimmers making mess and not making me look as neat. Been wet shaving with the Oneblade for years and also body hair and it's a godsend 👍🏻

Because of you I bought one of these and I also love it! I tried something different the other day. I took a small beard brush and brushed the whiskers against the grain and then came in with the Oneblade. Talk about close! Brushing the whiskers stand them up so they're more accessible to the Oneblade. I followed that with a single pass with a safety razor and barely felt any feedback. Rubbed some heavily mentholated after shave and didn't feel any stinging whatsoever. You should give it a try if you haven't already.

I got a Durablade, maybe this is better but that one just doesn't seem to save me any time over regular shaving, between going over areas more than once to get everything and pausing to let it cool down, and also leaves skin dryer than shaving. But, it stayed because it's not a big investment and it's good for when I've really let my stubble go to lengths a razor gets draggy on. Ymmv with all shave products for sure!

Pro tip. The Razor has blades on the top and bottom. So there is no need to flip it when you want to shave in the opposite direction. Shave up and then down in the same pass. Dont lift the razor off of your face and you can shave in both directions in one stroke.
@averageguytested
@averageguytested Жыл бұрын
Yes I know, but I’m not a fan of the back stroke since OneBlade is designed to cut against the grain. You’re just wasting energy with your suggested technique- thanks for watching 👋🏽

Should not shave over lips. I did with OneBlade and cut them, although no blood and not initially noticed. More than months out and still not fully healed. Called Philips and, without letting them know of my experience, instructed not to shave over lips or could cut yourself. Now I was shaving left to right. So do not know if that was the problem or whether multiple passes and pressed too hard, or just sensitive skin (also cut my neck one time) But advise not to shave over lips.

As a trans woman I need to shave very close every day so before I got my oneblade I had to deal with a lot of irritation. Since switching to the oneblade followed by a second pass with a traditional razor I'm able to keep my face very smooth daily without tearing up my skin or eating up tons of my time. This plus the fact that it's also quick and effective on body hair really makes it ideal for my situation.

yasir altaf Yes, if you shave every two days you’re better off with the Andis Pro Foil. That works wonders for close stubble and leaves me smooth pretty fast. You might have to get like one or two whiskers with a razor, but it does amazing. Trust me, I have used an expensive machine like the Panasonic Arch 5 and still thought my Andis Pro Foil our performed the Arch 5.

Hi bought one of these, been a single blade safety razor user for years. Used it today, definitely an comfortable shave but my 5 day growth wasn't shaving off as easy as yours. The blade seems to have a very smooth coating on it. Have I missed a trick in its setup. Thanks
@averageguytested
@averageguytested 3 жыл бұрын
The trick with One Blade is to shave against the grain. You’ll also need to give it a couple of shaves to get your beard acclimated to the blade. At the end of the day tho- it will never cut as close as a DE or traditional cartridge razor, but it’s a great tool for quick casual shaves, ripping off long stubble and beards, edging and trimming, etc.

I don't see a any benefit from a normal bread trimmer which would in a single pass remove all hair. These videos I feel are from people who are paid from the company or have some type of incentive to push these inferior products.

OneBlade is designed for shaving and trimming - it’s a good hybrid. A more expensive beard trimmer can’t compete with the overall versatility of OneBlade.

Well I order for my sorry Back side to get a Sensor, I had to do some serious hunting. because I wanted an Original UNOPENED Sensor. so I went here www.usrazor.com/gillette-razors-blades/men-razor/sensor-razor-blades-refills/7-gillette-sensor-excel-1-razor-blade-refill-cartridge-handle.html BUT! the shipping was almost the same price as the Razor itself....so... 100$ but if you needs Blades bro there ya go.. cause..free shipping in the USA...just not Canada. Plus your Mach 3 Sensitive blades are there too.
