Here you can see the difference between a real makeup artist and youtube/instagram mua's. Everything Lisa does is quite light and seemingly effortless. No need for thick layers of foundation, caking, backing and contouring to hide skin imperfections, it's the technic and knowledge of your craft. My hat's off to you Ms. Eldridge!

Your comment sums up why I unsubscribed to every amateur "mua" on KZfaq. Its ridiculous to think that I'm suppost to wear concealer like foundation and tons of powder under the eyes? I only watch Lisa now she is so good.

What really sells me on Lisa's videos is the respect she always has for the models she features and how she is open to every little tip anyone will share. Beautiful model and makeup! I would love to see a tutorial on Cindy Crawford's classic 90's look one day, I read somewhere Lisa used to do her makeup and a tutorial from the creator would be just perfect!

Briefing Felix what do you mean getting out of her comfort zone? She's shielding herself here, and as someone with vitiligo up and down my body I say no, she should wear it proudly because it is a mark of uniqueness and something that makes you stand out, and though I doubt she'll ever see this comment, I implore her to not cover it up anymore, and instead be proud of the marks, embrace them and treat them as what they are, part of you

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jemma for offering to appear without makeup. Through this video, we have discovered that the worrying white patches that have appeared on my Husband hands are vitiligo! I also have to say how I am always amazed at the superb tips I learn from each and every one of your tutorials Lisa. I had assumed that "heavy" specialised foundations and concealers would be used. However with your artistry and Jemma's flawless skin, the vitiligo vanished in a soft veil of Armani!???!! l use the Luminous Silk foundation daily and will now practise using it as a concealer too. Thus solving my dilemma of never being able to find one that blends! I have to admit hitting the pause button so many times just to freeze the vision of the angelic, mesmeric Jemma in her bridal glow! STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!! Wishing you a very happy contented married life Jemma and thank you once again.

Hey Lisa! I am filled with joy to see this video. My youngest sister, now 10 years old developed vitiligo when she was 5. it's growing and becoming more and more noticeable since we are from Pakistan and have a brown skin tone. I have always treated her and made her feel that it's no problem. But my mom is not there yet, she still prays; thinks it's a disease that will go away if she prays harder for my sister...I try to talk to mom and make her understand...but you know it's hard to sometimes make parents change their mind...this video is so special to me. i cant even express...I am gona show this video to my mom :)

I want to thank Jemma for showing herself barefaced even though she felt uneasy about it, and Lisa for being so classy and not assuming her model would want to completely erase all evidence of skin discoloration. I have vitiligo too, (mine started 20 years ago) but I think of myself as fortunate because as far as skin conditions go, I feel this one is of less relative impact on one's quality of life. For those who are unfamiliar with it: vitiligo doesn't hurt or itch and it's not contagious. Its causes are unknown, and as of now, does not have a cure. For many, however, developing vitiligo is a blow to their self-esteem so it's important to see people like Jemma, model Winnie Harlow, and blogger Ash Soto (who uses her skin patches as canvas for body art) embracing their uniqueness and beauty rather than hiding away. Thanks again, Lisa and Jemma, for sharing this experience with us.

Jemma, if you see this, I wanted to tell you my daughter has vitiligo. She was four when it showed up. The best thing we have found to help her face is keeping sunscreen on it. Also, some psoriasis meds have evened out the patches on her face and body. So far, since the initial occurance, we've been able ro keep it off her face now. At first, she had a large spot by her mouth into her lips and large patch around her forehead. If you don't already know, try to limit sun exposure.

Sarah Hocutt It's kinda hard to feel confident with vitiligo. I have it on many parts of my body, especially on my hands. People tend to look at me like I'm about to spread the plague to them. So, yeah, I can understand why she doesnt feel too confident about it.

Wow Lisa! Every detail in her makeup is stunning! You never fail to impress us ❤️ I was happy to see the model showing her illness and talk about it, i have Psoriasis Vulgaris on my back and in my wedding i wanted this really simple backless dress.. i had to come up with foundation mixtures and liquid bronzers then to plot everything with a heavy powder to hide it.. it was so hard as it came out from stress and it gets worse with stress.. brave beautiful model though! ❤️ Can you please do another video for psoriasis ?! There's a whole community desperately needing help in covering those embarrassing patches 😞

This made me cry - human connection is so wonderful and I love the connection the two of you had through this session. This is probably one of my favorite videos from you Lisa. I was mesmerized from the beginning to the end. I feel like I connected with this model without even realizing. Her insecurities are so beautiful to me. She is inspiring. As a Bengali, I could not be more excited for this video (and I wish it existed last year during my Bengali/American fusion wedding haha). Wow I loved this video so much! It was so sweet of Lisa to offer help to Jemma. And Jemma is so lovely, and was so brave to show her skin without makeup for the first time in order to help others with vitiligo. She will be such a beautiful bride! Good luck to you Jemma!
