Thank you so much. I'm a historical interpreter for the Regency period, and I'm always looking for something to carry other than the flat bag that we've all used. I saw your video yesterday, and I've got one cut out from some scrap cotton in my stash. I'm going to hand sewing all of this while I watch the zoom videos and classes that I'm watching. As for the size, I'm making it a little larger in the bottom and using 6 pieces. I also usually carry a basket with the bag for larger things. btw - I also teach Tudor era classes, so this will go with several time periods.

I've only been able to find an example of a tulip reticule from the late Edwardian era. Are there any extant pieces from earlier? I feel like I've seen a pattern in Godey's, but can't remember the year...
