Personally i'd do screw hole down. Just the way we're told to do things in the UK. Gravity pulls down so strongest point at the bottom

They arent made to hold that much weight ever. The answer is it depends on id the pipe is at the top or bottom of a wall . Half way up or more you go up half way down or lower you go down .

Well since noone I know is walking on my 1/2 inch pipe, I strap them down, looks cleaner in my opinion. I also use stainless screws outside, not drywall screws 🤷‍♂️

Well considering electricians are not worried about someone trying to stand on them because that’s not the purpose of using them I’d chance to say it really doesn’t matter because any force applied directly will break them lose 🤣

Use 1/2inch stand offs they won't come out like that and you dont need to bend box offsets.

Nah it depends really you work with what you got and the space avaliable... especially on pearlings and whatnot
