Great interesting video - I'd say all of AB's subjects were very easy going and friendly enough, especially under the frustrating circumstances ! The people at the steel company towards the end were laid back and made a great impression of their company.

Security was a nice chap just does not realise his company is trying to enforce policies that can’t be enforced hopefully awareness will make his employer not put him in the same situation again

How times have changed. I had my car stolen and it ended up in the police lot. I just wandered in with my kids took out my stuff still in there and the insurance arranged to go and view it. The police left me to it. This was in the days of the IRA but nobody was paranoid. The police were actually supportive then too.

Hi A B, I always enjoy your videos, this one with the encounter with the security man was a classic, the first bit when he said you don't have to film the site was so funny!, you could not argue with him really, what he was saying was entirely true, it was not compulsory!. You then had a very nice conversation with him, he is obviously way behind on his tyrant training, maybe he just is a decent person. In the end a very good encounter. Eight minutes in and another encounter with friendly citizens, is there something in the water they drink around there that protects them from fear of cameras, a term which from now on I will contract to F o C. Whatever it is I hope it spreads. Three more delightful meetings after that with such interesting stories, even the last one was much better than he sounded to start with, are your wearing some sort of special; charm hat today. The A10 is not a motorway, it’s an A road. The clue is in the name. The A10 has residential housing and bus services, completely safe to walk. Motorways have the letter M - as in M25 which don’t have residential housing and bus services.

Those pounds are such a scam. About 20 years ago when I was working on a building site near the East India Docks everyone parked on this dead end road which ran up past the site & at the top was a factory. When I came out one lunchtime my van was gone & I thought it had been stolen. When I asked the security at the factory if he knew anything, he told me it had been lifted & taken by the council to the pound at Stratford. He must have tipped them off for a nice few quid as he knew the company & number of who to call. When I called them they said I had to produce either my birth cert or passport & it would be £200 release fee & £25 for each day after! Luckily I did have my passport in the glove box as had recently been abroad. I had to call a mate of mine who lived in Bow to pick me up & take me there as I had no idea where it was or that they'd taken it. I have to say the people who worked there were some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met.The rudeness & arrogance they showed to people was nothing short of disgusting.Just shows you whet a little bit of power can do to people.

That Tobacco is called kurney not sure if I’ve spelt it right and the Gurkhas use it lots instead of smoking. It gives you a real spicy, minty hit and goes to your head if your not used to it which is why they won’t offer it to you.
