I've seen tons of references to and jokes about 40K since I started watching these videos, but this is the first one I've seen that does so, so blatantly that you know it was pulled straight from the Black Library. Exterminatus indeed.

When i read inquisition i read it as no one ever expects the inquisition. And i was not all that surprised with how they(inquisition) reacted/acted.

The inquisition just feels like a pack of rabid wolves in a cage that sits in the corner, starved and hungry until they’re needed, then they’re unleashed to feast upon humanities enemies

Also, I thought that when the aliens contacted the Republic they would find a Republic heavily influenced by the Inquisition since they would have gained a lot of say since they are "defending" humanity. Ok, so quick question: Is this a comedic horror story based in the universe of Warhammer 40K, or our universe in the future, slightly more utopic, and with a military force modeled after the Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40K that exists purely for the "unofficial" enforcement of the Geneva Convention against non-signatories? I'm 90% certain, but with pre-40K lore being what it is, you never know.

Since the civilians are already lost, scorched earth is a valid option.

I'm picturing terrans back at home drinking beer and laughing whenever a new report comes in. They're winning a war by letting some of their people larp with real weapons while the real military just chills out. Also it's kinda funny this guy thinks we wouldn't have fought our own people without pretending to be the inquisition. Had terrans done it less innocent would have died but wouldn't have been as thorough as the inquisition.

Greetings, Mentlegent! For the Rhyhtm that is Algo So, they really shouldn't have tried to make that last transmission. I mean, I know of 40K of course. But I'm more of a Battletech guy, at least out of those two. So I was pleased that the Inquisition wasn't some killing-other-humans-because-dogma thing. I mean, technically it is, but compared to it's historical counterpart, it really isn't.

My concept for a story is human ambassador arrives meats galactic council, first thing he says is to have a common ground we invite you to becomes signatories to Geneva convention. Section a clear states. No torture No weapons of pain No rape No forced canablism of prisoner's No nukes No chemical weap9ns No biological weapons Do not attack medics. Section b No cracking life bearing world's No blowing up stars of inhabitable systems No gray too No stranglet missiles No vacuum decay bombs No van Newman drones No black hole bombs on world's No anti matter bombs on world's No ateriod attacks Council asks why 2 secti9ns? Huumans says section A are lessons we paid for in blood when we were cradle bound. Council asks do you have those weap9ns in secti9n B HUMAN replies will you believe me when I say no?
