I literally got mine 2 days ago and i love everything about it. The screen, the performance, the battery, the speakers, design, mac OS...seriously checks all the boxes. My sister bought her Macbook Pro in 2013 and believe it or not the laptop still works till this day!

I’m just now upgrading from my late 2013 MBP I bought for college. They’re long lasting machines. Honestly it still works great for web browsing, emails, just general light tasks.

As an iOS developer, I have a 14 inch 16 GB, 1 TB, Base MI Pro Chip. It is more than enough to perform my day to day tasks. Screen is brilliant, speakers are the best I've heard. Even the fans hardly speed up and the best is that it is way more portable than a 16 inch.

for xcode users, do u think 14 inch 512 GB is good enough? or is the space gonna be tight? how helpful is an external ssd?

@@notyomama2981 Hi, after one year I have used almost 400 GB of space. Half of that has been purely on Xcodes caches, derived data and archives. I didn’t want to rely on an external SSD and be carrying it everywhere. It depends if you’re ok with carrying it everywhere you go and not possibly forgetting it.

I just switched from 13.6 inch M2 Air 8GB 512GB for 14 inch MacBook Pro 16GB Ram 512GB SSD M1 Pro. I noticed an difference comes to performance I love it totally worth it!!

I've been using my 16 inch m1pro MBP for 8 months. I love every bit of it. It's still as fast as the 1st day I got it. I think I can keep it for 10 years.

Great video! I’m looking to get my first MacBook. I’m getting back into my photography business and I do a lot of editing in Lightroom. I also do some video editing for KZfaq every now and then. Lightroom would run so slow and glitch out on my Asus ROG so I’m eager to see the difference on the 14 inch MacBook Pro. Also just having that amazing display will make a world of a difference with editing.

I bought the m2 Mac Pro 14’ and I love it ❤️ I upgraded from MacBook Air 2019, it’s feels so smooth, I have been able to finally do what I want to do with what I wanted to do with my mac 🥰 I love editing, photography, just started a buisness, literally everything creative 😍 P.s. great video

You have a subscriber! I have had my M1 Pro 10 CPU 16 GPU 16 Neruo engine, 32 Gb of ram and 1 tb SSD it’s been a great laptop with the 14 inch! It costed me $2,868 for the student discount.

Bro please get your Macbook cleaned internally! I work for a pc repair shop and the I've heard the story you told about the tea countless times. The moisture gets trapped inside and slowly oxidizes contact pads and traces, and one day the pc suddenly dies. The mac should be disassembled, the board cleaned professionally and the underside of the keyboard also. You are still on time, please do this

I just took delivery of my 14” MacBook Pro M1 Pro Max 10/32core 64gb RAM and 2TB… this thing flies. The M2 Pro/Max are the same chips.. just with a few more cores.. and as such they get a lot hotter than the M1 Pro/Max and are subjected to thermal throttling to keep them cooler. M1 Pro/max are the best choice until the new M3 chips and beyond.

I agree you should buy it, because it is the best bangs for bucks available, but it is not problem free: 1. External drives keep disconnecting or have trouble mounting 2. It seems to have memory leaks I have had endless spinning beachballs and in Monterey actual kernel panics 3. The cursor keeps disappearing which may be Monterey/Ventura bugs. 4. Oil prints onto the screen from the keyboard 5. The keyboard drops characters and clicks 6. Attaching external drives can really slow it down due to the GPU being weak. 7. I have not been able to share wifi from it to external devices like my smart tv.

Please tell me, do you have any dents/pits/micro-holes on you display? I had some on my MacBook Pro 14 (2021) after about 6 months of use. I did recently got my display replaced under warranty. I read that many people experience this despite being so protective with the device and some even had the same thing happened on the replaced display too. Even if not advised, should I consider putting a film screen protector. What do you think? Thank you!

I have just bought one too! ;-) Because of the upcoming M2Pro Chip (in 3Nm) the prices are dropping round about 20%... The M2Pro will be on the same price level increased as the MBA was... But it won't be sooo much -noticeable- better!!! I highly recommend to get of the last M1Pro - maybe now in higher spec ;-). They are a bargain right now! Happy new year all! Macbook M1 only 20 charge cycle turns on automatically after I shut down. No proper guidance from apple. Waste of money. Switching back to windows. Never apple again. Advice: Don't buy apple products.
