Onewheel GT Footpad - TFL Kush Wide

Thanks to The Float Life for giving me a Kush Wide to test out! As of 8/19/23 it’s still on my board, which is still lowered with the OTW Foamie front footpad, and now has WTF rails and a 5” hub!

I'm all stock!! 🤙🏽🤣 Over 4300 miles now. Number 8 leaderboard for mileage. Guess it's all personal preference. I wouldn't change a thing about the board. I ride trail Street whatever. Jibing all the way🤘🏽

love the honest review mid-way. i havent done the CBXR battery mod yet... but i feel wayyy more locked in with my XR on any terrain. love the range and the torque of the GT but the XR takes the W for ride preference. after $1000 and some time with aftermarket parts it will be a different story for the GT.

My hood! You guys are brave passing people that fast, when I ride that trail I fully dismount and go to the side while people pass. I'm deathly afraid they'll call the rangers. I like to say that path is legal for Onewheels on Tuesdays. And damn do you guys rip on it, no surprise there though.

I came here for you lovely smile of course. I have a kush hi on my XR, I do agree the design of the kush hi could have been better at the front of the pad on the XR. I had to fill the big gap with a piece of plastic. I wish the kush wide was around when I ordered mine. Love watching you guys rip.

Can't wait for the release. My large feet will be happy that the awkward angle on the edge of the stock pad is gone and to have a bit more real estate. Fingers crossed for a flat front pad soon.

1. Was your gt on the lowering kit in This video? 2. I 100% agree about the xr being more preferable to ride. I look forward to riding my xr’s and basically force myself to put miles on my gt, so I don’t feel like I wasted $2400. But in all honesty I’m lying to myself. I did ceramic bearings and the enduro. Waiting on my lowering kit, and for the wide to drop. Something has to make this thing more enjoyable. 3. Awesome video as always. Thanks for sharing!

Thing is, I rode a friend's GT, my feet are small enough as to where I don't even feel the sharp edges 😅. Size 7.5 btw. The whole board feels wide to me. Awesome product tho!

The pad is hard plastic so the softer pad is preferable all the same

It's definitely more of an issue for big feet riders. My size 13 don't like that they cut inward on the pad. It makes it more difficult to activate the sensor too. If FM cut it even with the edge of the board it would probably be fine. I'm definitely getting this rear pad the moment it's available.

@@redboyjan I've seen that too. The edge doesn't bother me as much as FM angling the edge inward. My big feet need all the pad space I can get.

@@DrewLakebrink the whole thing is a bad bad copy of what the community is doing anyway for years. Which needs ridic money spent to address. Only the front sensor and the ghosting is still an issue. Very very few in UK are bothering with GT, it'll be vesc on a XR platform here. The no right to repair is the main thing. But most won't ride a board they can't trust. Noone in the whole time of onewheel has successfully made a reliable concave pad so why FM thought they could I have no idea. I have tried a GT a few times and the pads are hard and rubbish and I dont trust it to not ghost so I dial back riding one, happy to get my cbxr xr back that is solid AF too, much lighter. Fuck em. Time to say goodbye

I’ve been wanting looking for a wide footpad for the front! Was considering the platypus front and rear but I’m not really a fan of the shape. I wish I could put a sensor on the onetail wide
