Tamara here in San Francisco, first of all THANKS for sharing your lunch time with me. It was bittersweet taking me back to my old work place Chicago. I remember the screeching El train when it turned the corners above the streets and the crowds during lunch time. Chicago was the first city that made me cry at lunch time, realizing why after a month - it was because no one was smiling during lunch times - people were just eating their lunches and minding their own business, not like San Franciscans did back then in 1973. People were standing behind you at lunch counters waiting to snatch your seat the moment you got up. Back to you. Thanks for the great scene where you caught the boat on the river going by with the seats empty ready for people to be seated to eat. It was so beautiful and nice. You ran some STOP signs. You amazed me how diligent you were on your One Wheel going forward and backward. You are amazing. If you come to San Francisco, you deserve one meal on me. Your subscriber that always leaves you a thumb up as a thank you, Tamara.

This is so relaxing to watch. I want to buy a one wheel XR someday but my current build is a Tranzite RWD 3300W cross country longboard. I love the acceleration on they hypercore here. It's enough to be comfortable to you but not too jarring or slow that leaning isn't risky. Steering looks so seamless, like you're floating over the road as if you were on water

Tip for ya. Hold the camera so that each camera is pointing to left and right. The way you have it(up and down) puts the stitching on the horizon where we are looking most of the time. Also, up and down creates mismatched exposures

Love the video. I'm in awe of your weaving in and out of traffic with sweet camera control, and tricks sprinkled in too. I'm in just my first week with the OneWheel and mostly stick to sidewalks and bike Lanes, but watching this has made me want to get more miles in. Looking forward to more!

Yeah I agree with that but some of the post production editing he is doing really adds to the flow of the ride IMO. I also wish the quality was better but I think he gets a better vibe (out of the entire riding in a city through traffic experience) either way stroh shreds through crosstown traffic 🤘

Bloomin-heck I’m watching this again! This video takes some beating (everything is right on it, music, route, filming camera position, blue sky, ). FM must have sold immeasurable amounts of OW’s from this video alone. You should be paid to travel to new cities and give us a tour ‘sly-style’ 🏢🗽⛲️🗼➖🔘➖💨

Starting at 12:50 a great, clear angle on a slide/stop/dismount followed by a jump/mount. Was really helpful. (As an aside - you should've hit on the chick at 3:05.)

You should make a vid showing common things to look out for when floating through a major city. I noticed you automatically know how to react to dangers such as those grates on the ground and to quickly switch to sidewalk to avoid those potholes in the ground. I'm sure there are tons your avoiding out of sheer instinct. I prob would have eaten shit 10 times half way through your vid lol.

@@slydogstroh Enjoy! and stay safe....The boards must factor in weight and how it taxes the motor (I'm about 215lbs)...and in case anyone else is reading this I'm just putting it out there that although those speeds work for you without issue...I'm not recommending those speeds for anyone else. Just trying to keep others safe. I know if I start hitting 25~mph...that boards taking me down. The motor will just drop out on me so I never approach those speeds anymore. *Enjoy watching you ride!*

Did you switch your fender back or was this shot before the new accessories?

I stripped the fender screw holes jumping up curbs with the Flight Fender so I swapped back to the Craft and Ride and I'm using Zip Ties to hold it in place again. The Prostance footpad has a "well" on it for the fender to sit in. Otherwise the fender would be sliding around (because it's held on my zip ties haha).

Kinda worried about dropping $$ on the Flight Fender if it doesn't hold up, your zip ties lasted longer... You recommend the Craft & Ride fender zip tied over the Flight Fender? I'm about to be in the market for a fender+flight fins

I notice you lift your heel on your back foot for stopping. Is that a setting you can make or do you ride the board “backwards”?

Both. Style, control and in general a varied foot stance helps with preventing foot fatigue. I ride a lot.
