I honestly fear for their living conditions. Do you know how long you'd have to leave cereal out to breed moths? I just hope to God it wasn't just on a table and they better have meant like a bowl of milk and cereal cause I'd be terrified to walk into a home so dank and deprolable that cereal diddnt go stale it literally started growing maggots.

There was a moment where Ding Dong says "What kind of a name is Nurse Joy?" and chris responds "An Ironic name for people who are horrible" They mention a girl named Joy back in SleepyCast, and initially blame Cory for moths, and Nial for the Torrenting when they later talk about a different Roommate being the one who torrented.

Shoulda drawn a vortex of moths flying down into the bottle like a Luigi mansion vacuum. But I love the sense of style. Juxtaposing edited real life images with crude art styles, actors that glide while flipping between two frames as a walk cycle, snappy but accurate lip sync, a firm grasp on cinematography, and at least an eye for dynamic motion (as evidenced by certain movements that convey well despite few frames) are all things i love to see. It always reminds me of collage stuff like the stinky cheese man, and especially fits the crudeness of the source material.

Beautiful animation, perfect for these chaotic kids living in their world of maggots and filth. When Zach says that "60 moths will fly in there and die" I think he meant that they'd fly into the bottle, so there'd be a thick layer of dead moths on top of Cory's beer. Just a beautiful visual I want everyone to have in their heads.

I still do not believe the cereal was the catalyst for the maggots and moths. I've lived in several houses where cereal was left out and this has never happened. IIRC Lyle stated it was Cory's disgusting room that created the maggots, which is much more believable.

It definitely could've been/was the cereal, look up mealmoths, I've had them in my house before and it sounds exactly like this situation, maggots on the ceiling, tons of moths all over the house and if you leave any cereal or foods made with grain open it will get infested by the moths/maggots, they can also eat their way through the packaging so you need to put cereal/grain shit in plastic containers to actually keep them out. They're also a total pain in the ass to get rid of like nearly impossible

Look up pantry moths and meal moths. Those are the typical two, but there are others, and all of them will go for stored grains. You don't even need to be that dirty, they will infest grain if you leave it out and opened and they are around. They can enter windows, squeeze trough cracks (the larvae can fit through screens), might be in your home already living off crumbs, or may already be on the stored grain as live eggs which will hatch into larvae eventually. I'm guessing that you either got lucky, the cereal was sealed pretty good, or you lived in places where they aren't very abundant.
