Sadly because he has a majority there is little that can be done short of a criminal action. He's slimy and unfit for political office but technically he hasn't done anything criminal, yet. Unless his party sees that he is now bad for future election win prospects and asks him to leave the only way to get rid of him is vote him out and FLOOD your MPPs email with messages of dislike. If your MPP is not PC, then flood Ford's email. Beyond that we need to make findings like this legally actionable to hold majority governments to account. Or better yet, do away with first past the post and bring in Singlen transferable Vote, which forces minority governments

We need legislation that would make Auditor General reports legally actionable so that Ontarians can hold corrupt politicians accountable for their malfeasance. Also, the AG's recommendations around record retention and use of personal e-mails clearly indicates that the government was trying to hide what it was doing from any FOIA requests and other investigations. Ford needs to go.

People shouldn’t be apathetic about this! It’s outright corruption and criminality. Everyone email your mpps about this and demand an RCMP criminal probe of this. The OPP is a provincial entity that depends on the Ontario government for their funding. They are far from impartial.

Corporate liability protection needs to end for politicians!!! Doug Ford specifically stated he would protect the green belt at the rally I attended in Niagara Falls on his first run for premier. Also, I feel politicians finances need to be monitored for at least two decades after leaving offices and while in office so if any funny money shows up, a corrupt politician gets dragged into the light.

Developer speculation is also causing farmland prices to skyrocket. Last year was worry about wheat shortages, this year its rice, the cost of vegetables is sky rocketing.... and we're paving over incredibly rich farmland for poorly built suburban sprawl.

I farm in Southern ON and our land-use policies are really getting out of control. We are paving over our most sustainable and important industry with bad urban planning so a few people can get even richer. Sustainable growth is very possible but being held back by outdated bylaws, zoning, and these awful get- rich quick sprawl policies.

We need to build up, not out. We need our Greenbelts more than ever. With Climate Change and Global Warning, we need trees more than ever. When it's gone - IT'S GONE. Let's keep our greenbelts and find other solutions. (EXAMPLE: The construction of the Hamilton LRT is being held up because Ford is focused on his precious Ontario Line. Relieving the traffic congestion in the north end of Hamilton will make possible residential construction on a massive scale.)

You know if you drain lake ontario you have and entire new section to develop right next to downtown toronto. Since thats what ontario is. The bedroom of toronto where everyone drives to toronto every day and home again. The farther you go the cheaper the real estate gets. Thats how chinese cities work.

This is what happening, aside from the commission that this investor giving to the gov’t officials, the Mayor. They are also giving them 11-20 units of what they build. 😂😂😂😂😂 if Canadian will not do anything soon they will become like the indigenous people moving away from their own land.

@@railfandepotproductions We could fix it, but the people who would have to do it personally profit out of this broken system, so they have no incentive to change anything. Big business, and corporations need to be completely removed from politics. Lobbying also needs to be banned. Its not fair that people with lots of money can just pay to get what they want, and it completely circumvents our democratic process
