I don't change my filter every time. Instead I change it every other time.. I take that into account when I refill the crankcase with new oil. The changed oil looks new even though 1 quart is a holdover. Can do an oil change in 3 minutes w/o changing the filter. John S

We use WIX XP Filters on our Super Duty. You forgot to put a little fresh oil on the rubber ring. Next change it may be a bit tough getting that rusty Fram filter off. As others have said, stick with Motorcraft, but we have found the WIX XP Filters are a little better at the micron level. Great videos. Stay safe out there.

I'd suggest not using a Fram Oil Filter. Stick to the oem Ford filters (motorcraft) for best service life and reliability. I'm sure you could order a case of those and keep a couple in your truck. If you do choose to go aftermarket I'd suggest Donaldson or Caterpillar.

Also when chaining chain the machine like you did and the other hook chain it in the rails land just put the boom in between both ends and just twist the slack it has left into the boom I don’t know I guess it’s just personal preference

When doing you oil changes, you should fill the new filter with new oil before installing it, makes it a little more difficult but your engine runs without oil flowing through it until the filter fills up, hard on the engine. Also, put oil on the rubber O ring of the new filter before installing, makes it easier when removing.
@christhomas98373 жыл бұрын
Last time you showed us your oil change many of us told you to put oil on the rubber gasket of the new filter. Also you don't need to put the filter on so tight. Put it on as hard as you can by hand only. I like your video's, you're a hard working person.
@user-ts2wu7eq2z3 жыл бұрын
Yousiff ,great video's .I would like to suggest a DYI oil analysis kit at your next oil change.When you get the results maybe extended the mileage intervals .I would only suggest this if you use synthetic oil.Happy trucking and stay safe.

Just a small tip when you’re backing up in that position try to almost jack knife the truck and trailer and align the end of the trailer with the dock then swing the truck around give yourself some distance from the dock and you should be good 👍🏽
@ltruong5710613 жыл бұрын
for those binders to unwind it quicker put the hook onto the rail and spin it to unwind it quicker.
@pipergrimley29303 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t attach the binder directly to the rub rail unless you have too. It’s not really load bearing. You should have chain on both sides if the binder. Run the trailer side chain down through one opening between the rub rail and the trailer then move two openings and run back up and hook the chain to itself. Then put the binder on connecting the chain. Also would recommend a trip block on any load that could easily shift or roll. It’s just a notched block of wood you put in front of your load and secure with a chain to stop forward motion during heavy breaking. It’s saved my ass a couple times.
