The white bits on chocolate is called a bloom. Its when chocolate gets hot then cold. It causes the fat or sugar to seperate from the tempering.

i bought graystillplays coffee and hotchocolate ones (plus a chunky glass mug), and i would say hands down, the shipping to uk and packing was really impressive and the quality of the product was beautiful. just import fees for any us product is frustrating sometimes! But he is one of the youtubers like yourself who i would wholeheartedly give money towards your products because you actually care.

I worked with chocolate bars before and the "withe texture" in the Feastable's Quinoa is note ideal for a chocolate bar, but don't mean that the bar is bad. Is just a reaction because of shipping and temperature. It's much more comom in bars that are more organic, most of the more processed chocolates have some sort of chemical to conter those. At least it's what the company that I worked on told us to answer in their social media.

I've been eating the rainbow Sour Boys for a week now and I didn't know you can individually rip the colors. You should include that feature on the packaging cuz it's really fun. The flavors are yummy. The taste is clean compared to other rope candy which taste like chemicals. Only thing I could say is that it isn't really sour at all. I'm down to try other flavors that come out.

White labeling isn’t the main/only issue. When you treat it like a passion project, it makes it sound Ike a totally original product rather than a repackaged existing product. There’s just a lot of things that were said/implied that were misleading or untrue. I think that’s a little bit immoral

For anyone's information : yes it happens that some sort of white cast appears on chocolate. Two possible factors : Chocolate was exposed to high temp and the cocoa butter sorta separated and provokes white spots Chocolate was exposed to humidity and sugar cristalize at the surface. It can change the taste a bit, but it's safe to be eaten. So if it happens on your chocolate, probably fine to eat (source I worked in a chocolaterie)

Na the first one. I work for the largest chocolate conglomerate in the world lol. We cant have much moisture in chocolate if any at all because it actually promotes mold and yeast growth even in a sealed packet. What your talking about is called tempering. When you temper chocolate the main thing that forms your actual chocolate bar is called beta crystals. So if your beta crystals aren't formed at the right speed then your chocolate will come out hot or untempered and it will have the coating like you see but it's called blooming. Now believe it or not it can be because the chocolate is to cold. It's called chocolate flashing. It leave a very shiny but similar layer as the one seen but it's because the coco butter inside didn't fully mix and temper with the sugar and cocoa powder. Chocolate is crazy lol. 11 years experience is finally paying off wooo! (I'm kidding of course I hate my life)

That white film is called sugar bloom! :3 You are correct, it happens from temperature changes and moisture exposure. It's safe to eat, but it's gross and ruins the smooth, melty quality that you like from chocolate. I personally hate the texture of it because it's like eating Crisco....

Hey Oompa. I used to work at an inpatient pharmacy at a hospital, and Vitamin K2 was used to reverse the effects of blood thinners in people who needed that. I don’t know how strong it is compared to the daily form, but maybe it’s not the best thing to tell Gen pop to take. With that caveat it’s great info!

Iirc, the milky white residue on the beast bars chocolate is called "bloom", and it comes when the chocolate isn't tempered right (aka melted wrong). Still edible, just means the chocolate was made badly.

The chocolate blooming that causes the discoloration shouldn't effect the chocolate in terms of taste nor cause adverse effects, but it likely means there is issue where the chocolate got too warmafter it had been tempered and partially melted and the cocoa fat separated while it cooled, or it was packaged in an overly humid environment.

Hey Caleb! Here’s why the chocolate turns white, (it’s called a sugar or fat bloom). Chocolate turning white is due to the chocolate being too hot when it is worked. The cocoa butter will separate, rise to the surface, and solidify, leaving white fat residue. It is still safe to eat and shouldn’t alter the taste. But I’d still rather eat SOURBOYS!! 🤩
