Oluwo is correct! Culture is different from religion. People are identified by culture and language, and not so much by their religion. An igbo man is an Ibo, not because he believes in arochuckwu; he is an ibo man because he was born into that tribe. An hausa man did not register with any religious body to become an hausa! There is no law that chooses your faith for you. A yoruba man was not registered with any religion at birth to become a yoruba person. Religion is a choice, not a condition to be a yoruba person! There's no law that says I must believe what my father believed or worship what he and his fathers chose to worship! We have people who don't identify with any faith or deity, yet they are yoruba. Calling Oluwo names will not suppress the truth. Bring out your facts not myths. We are not in the dark age when myths thrived!

Heresy. ODUDUWA is a Deity. ODUDUWA consulted Ifa. There are Other Deities like Sango, Ogun, Oya, Osun, Esu. ODUDUWA Worshipped all The Deities. There are Culture, Tradition, Ethics, Values as Yorubas are very Unique. Religion is A Personal Thing between people and God. African Tradition Religion, Christianity and Islam are the Recognized Religions in NIGERIA.

Adeleke is not a custodian of culture; kabiyesi is. And if you talk of protecting cultural heritage, that is another story completely. Cultural heritage like female circumcision, tribal marks etc are no longer practicable nibi oju 👁 la de yi😂. In the olden days, we pounded our iyan, today we prepare it on the stove with a patula. All the people crying foul; when was the last time they traveled from Ibadan to Abeokuta with egbe? Or those of them who travel abroad; did they go by air or they used egbe? So what cultural heritage are you talking about?

@@kintonjosh Governor appointed him to preserve our culture, not religion. Government anywhere you go doesn't choose religion for you. Religion is different from cultures.
