I apologize for this comment first in hand, but as much as this marriage is awesome..here are somethings that I found bizarre. I’ve never seen the tying of mangal sutr is thrown from the back of the bride to land on her neck. Every ritual action is taking place from the back of the bride leaving the bridegroom to see the back of the bride instead of the front or the side. This is one of the most unusual marriage I’ve ever witnessed in my life. Again sorry for leaving a honest opinion.

It might look bizarre for us as the wedding ceremonies of the badaga community are very unique and different..but it’s amazingly beautiful,pure and simple..no dramas,no flashy unwanted celebrations,,they are doing what is needed..kudos to Babu for bringing out their beautiful culture to the world.

One thing is no any wine and time passes. All are so happy. No unnecessary show offs. I have seen punjabis and harayanvi, fully drunk and doing so many nonsense things.even women drink.
