OP-Z: Input Mode

A recent firmware update to the OP-Z brought an input selection feature allowing users the ability to switch inputs on the unit. The inputs available are the built-in mic, 1/8" trrs mic input, and usb audio. This video shows users how the input selection feature works.

Hey! Thanks for the video! For some reason, the green and blue encoders don't seem to have any effect on the wet / dry for mic effects. Anything I may be missing?

Thanks. It’s a Shure Mic. I don’t know the exact model. I don’t think its available.

Weird, my OP-Z won’t let me adjust the mic dry/wet fx while the gyroscope is active.

just ordered the rumble can't wait. its easily the most misunderstood instrument and most versatile instrument of our time like hidden gold. when they add more unity stuff and more instruments with an sdk (maybe) i think it will be good, thanks for posting this. For some reason I updated to 1.28 and when I hold screen only 1 shows, no other input is working?

john blakley thanks for your comment. In order for the inputs (1-3) to be lit, they need to be connected to the OPZ. The trrs input needs to be a trrs connection and it would work with a standard headphone jack (trs). In other words, number 2 wont illuminate with just headphones connected. And usb audio needs to be setup on the computer as well for the opz to recognize it. I hope that helps.

Hey i am having the same issue as john blakley did, except when i first tried selecting an input, 1 3 and 0 lit up, but I was unable to get a viable line level into the Z. Now, I am continuing to try to select an input and only 1 is lighting up, despite the fact that I have a TRRS cable plugged in and a USB source plugged in. Thank you for your help, any advice?

Mine doesn’t either. Trying to select a source for sampling and I only get microphone 80% even though my ipad is plugged in. I’ve tried to use different two camera adapters to sample/answer send audio over recording on iphone and that doesn’t work either. These things are garbage. Firmware is upgraded too.
