Opel Astra K 1.6 DI Turbo modified to Stage 1: 240hp/350Nm by bhpmotorsport and modified suspension by ST Suspensions.
I highly don't recommend driving faster than 200 km/h on stock suspension!

Wenn wir mal ehrlich sind hätte er theoretisch keine Chance 😀 Bin auch nur hier gelandet weil ich mal sehen wollte wie der 1.6er so im vergleich zu unserem 1.4er geht

Don't take this video too serious. The other two cars are (of course) much faster than the Astra. If the Ferrari would like to get away he could do it easily (Vmax 335 km/h). It think this was just a decent cruising speed for him. In my opinion the BMW wasn't stock anymore too. I had several runs against this model so far but this BMW accelerated much faster than usual. And always keep in mind, that those speeds are GPS values, not values shown by the speedo (therefor add ~15 km/h to the GPS values).

Markus W very powerful car! Amazing that a 1.6 engine can develop such a high power. I saw other video that you have 280 hp and now back to 240. Is it to much 240+ for other components of the car? Clutch, gearbox, turbo.. etc?

The clutch has no problem but the temperatures at the turbo are too high for longer period of time at stage 2 and stock downpipe. I will upgrade to stage 2 again with new downpipe. The gearbox could be a problem in the future but thats part of the game ;)

Faster on paper, or on a track yes, but on practical everyday roads the actual difference is not that much.

I think no risk for stock suspension because standart engine can be reach 242 km/h if you open the speed limit. This car has Watt Link.

I think that the rear dampers are quite dangerous compared to really good dampers. Above 200 kph the Astra feels quite strange when the road isn't in perfect condition. If you have to break hard the rear gets very light and unstable. Of course you can do 240 with stock suspension but it doesn't feel good in my opinion. The steering of the car gets complicated when you need it the most like in dangerous situations.

If you check the bump at 03:25 at 215 kph. This section was really dangerous at stock suspension even at 200. The stock dampers needed serveral seconds to stabilize the car again and meanwhile it felt like losing control.

he did already , just check old videos :D eski videolarında vardı stage 2 sonradan stage 1 e geri indirdi sanırım stage 2 fazla kaldıramıyor araç anladığım kadarıyla şanzıman tork sınırını aşıyormuş. Ne kadar daha kullanacaksın diye sormuştum km olarak bana daha kullanıcam ama ileride problemler çıkacaktır gibi bir cevap vermişti stage 1 de bile pek güvenilir değil :/

Tog 103 Biliyorum. Araca çeşitli modifiyeler yapıp tekarardan stage 2 ye çekecem demişti. Ondan sordum. Stage 2 iken çok fena gidiyordu.

Also ein normaler GTI ist langsamer als meiner mit Software, vor allem ab 150 kmh aufwärts. Einen GTI Performance bin ich noch nicht begegnet, ich denke aber, dass es sich nicht viel geben wird.

Welche Software hast du ? Ich habe die von EDS in meinen Insignia 1.6 T laut Tacho 248. Läuft echt super und bin total zufrieden. Vielleicht sieht man sich ja mal auf der Bahn 😂

Hi Markus. Gibt es für diese Variante eine ABE um es beim TÜV eintragen zu können. Bei meinem 1.6 CDTi ist das nämlich seit der Gesetzesänderung 01/2021 nur schwierig und somit unverhältnismäßig teuer.

@@fscheibe ich hab das komplette Tuning mit allem drum und dran bei bhpmotorsport machen lassen. Es ist aber dort auch eine EDS Software verwendet worden.

Very satisfied, it's really powerful for its size and quite cheap to operate/maintain. The other two are much more powerful of course but also much more expensive. The price of the BMW doubles the Astra and the Ferrari is quite unreachable. There are just a few tracks in Germany where you can go such fast for a longer period of time. The A9 in northern Bavaria is unrestricted for about 40 km (without the costruction site). The track leads mostly uphill and the Astra can stay almost all the time 240+ (GPS). This means the speedo shows quite all the time 250 and more. In case of saving travel time it's not very useful to go any faster than this. So yes, more power is always cool but at some point it's just a hobby.

Rui Gomes The handing gets improved so much you can't imagine. You are totally in control of the situation even at 250. In my opinion the stock suspension is critical at 180+. If you don't lower the car totally to the ground you have some decent comfort left. The exchange of the suspension was the most noticeable and best upgrade so far.

I agree with the 180+, on corners at high speeds the back tend to wanna run away, since i dont have watts link, and it gets a little dangerous when it slips. If i get them i was thinking about lowering 3-4 cm, cause more than that i'll bump everywhere cause of the front, it has that tiny bit of plastic. Thank you so much !

I'm quite interested in the suspension upgrade also, I have my eyes set on a Bilstein B14 suspension kit (not sure if they're better than the ST suspensions but they have generally good reviews), the only problem is that it may probably void my warranty which I had extended to 5 years (looking back, it may not have been the best decision if I want to make any modification). I have to confirm that the feeling the stock suspension gives at high speeds 200+ on bumpy/not perfect roads does not inspire confidence, and you feel like you have to be quite ballsy to push it further.

Stage 1 ile 255 vurabilen aile aracı... ülkemizde şu araç yerine 1.4 Golf tercih eden kerizler yüzünden tutulmadı.

Tog 103 genel olarak avrupalı araçları sevmem ama bu astra gerçekten çok performanslı. Torku kısıp biraz daha beygirli tasarlansaymış keşke.

Tog 103 1.6 180 hp insignia 260 yapıyo Astra stock olarak 200 hp, stage 1 ile 220 hp civarı oluyo ama nasıl 255 te kalıyo daha yüksek süratlere ulaşması gerekirdi

JDM CARS Son hız konusunda haklısın daha fazla hp biraz daha düşük tork ayarlasalar belki dahada uzardı fakat pist gibi yerlerde dez avantaja dönüşürdü bana kalırsa bu rakamlar çok iyi hem çabuk hızlanıyor hemde yeterli son hızı var ve çok iyi yol tutuyor bu arada İnsignia ya bakmayın 269 hıza çıktığına GPS ile ölçüldüğünde 250 km/h ler de seyreder hızı aynı bu videoda ki gibi bu kanalın farklı bir videosu var 260 a çıktığında ibre 272 gösteriyordu sanırım. Belki de vites oranı ile alakası da olabilir İnsignia nın 6. vites oranı çok uzundu bu yüzden yüksek hızlara çıkıyordu.

JDM CARS Söylemeyi unuttum Stage 1 220 hp değil 240 hp veriyor videoda da yazmış ülkemizde ki yazılımlar 220 hp veriyor sanırım. Bu kanalda 260 hp 400 nm tork a çıktığı videoda var çok güzel yürüyor.

PhilCh Das ist der 1.6 Benziner. Bei 250 laut Tacho liegen etwa 5700 an. Das hier im Video sind ja 250+ nach GPS, also Tacho immer irgendwas zwischen 260 und 270. Ja, es ist die Software von EDS. Der Diesel kommt nicht annährend so weit, auch nicht mit Software.

@@Player_-lu5kh Now is stage 1 on my car. From 115 HP and 170NM torque to 143 HP and 232 NM torque. I wanted to do stage 2 but stage 1 is completely ok. The car is so incredibly fast now. Consumption is now at normal driving 4.8l per 100 km. The SIDI 1.0 and 1.6 engines are amazing.

@@schnoggel I have previous version of 1,6T called A16LET but it's the same with Z16LET or LES LER LEH. Right now with changed last muffler to a smaller one. It produces ~190hp and probably a little bit more than 270Nm with OB. Normal probably around 250. With me car weights around 1650kg. It's not a small weight, but with this engine this car is fast enough to have a fun with driving and to do some street races after changing red to green :D Last time I won with second generation of scoda octavia rs 2.0T 200hp :D
