Um mit deinem Astra K 270 km/h zu fahren, bräuchtest du um die 300 PS. Da du wahrscheinlich nicht mal die von dir angegebenen 240 hast, bei der EDS Phase 1, denke ich dein Tacho mal überprüfen zu lassen 😅

I have got Astra J GTC 2.0 CDTI currently and love that car. I think I will try Astra K 1.6 Turbo as my next one, that car seems to be wild with such acceleration!

I have this engine in a 2018 Astra... and the amount of power that this engine deliver, it's simply insane!! From 0 to 200 km/h i,ve even match an audi RS3...🤣🤣No further comparison... But it is quite satisfying see an RS3 put blinkers on after a short run, and check the car from his behind.🤭🤭

Hallo, eine Frage, ist das Getriebe auch genau so lang übersetzt wie das andere Modell von astra k 1.2t? Astra k 1.2t schafft bei 200 km/h ca. 4000 1/min in dem 6ten Gang, wie ist bei deinem Auto? Auch so lang übersetzt oder eher kürzer? Viele Grüße

ein bisschen kürzer, bei 200 km/h dreht der 6te Gang etwa 4500 1/min und das Getriebe ist bei etwa 284 am Ende, dann kommt der Begrenzer.

@@markusw2830 Vielen Dank für deine schnelle Antwort. Weißt du ob die Automatik Getriebe Variante auch genau so lang übersetzt ist wie das Schaltgetriebe oder etwa vielleicht länger? Und den Astra K 1.6T würdest du nur mit Schaltgetriebe empfehlen oder auch mit Automatikgetriebe? Viele Grüße

@@b.c.92 der mit Start Stopp ist etwas länger übersetzt und der mit Automatik auch. Aber der 1.6T mit Automatik ist extrem selten, bin auch noch nie Automatik gefahren, daher kann ich nichts zu sagen. Länger übersetzt heißt halt auch immer, dass etwas weniger Leistung an kommt und auch der Durchzug etwas leidet.

Hey Markus, I've commented alot on your videos before I even got the Astra K. Now I have it, almost 80k km bought it with 35k km, done over 20k with stage 1, recently switched stage 1 on sport button and without it I have "stock" map. Looking to buy an Intercooler but can't find any actually for some reason.. also do I have to do some attest or it comes with the tuv certificate in Germany ofc and thats it? and is it the same for Downpipe? I would appreciate your reply very much 🙃 P.S how many KMs do you have on it now? 😁

Currently I have 189k km and the car is running like on the first day. It's really impressive. Just one repair so far: wheel bearings on the front left side. Others just tyers, oil and brakes, but that's obvious

@@markusw2830 Thats so good to hear. What do you have atm IC, DP, Map and Suspension? I am planning to drive it for a longer time hopefully. Did you have to attest something or everything came with tuv certificate? I haven't done anything besides map and I want to be street legal in Germany in case something happens ..

@nikolahumljanovic3069 I have software from bhpmotorsport with TÜV certificate, the dbilias intercooler and k&n filter, no downpipe. And in the end I got everything written down in my papers at the TÜV

Mit welchem GPS hast du denn gemessen? Ich habe den Sports Tourer mit OPF. Das interne GPS zeigt bei 240km/h Tacho 232km/h und eine App aufm Handy zeigt die eingetragenen 235km/h, kurz auch mal 236km/h. Dabei sind bis über 200km/h beide Anzeigen identisch.

@@melo_pro kommt auch drauf an ob man die OPF version hat oder nicht. Meiner ist von 02/16 ohne OPF, die gehen deutlich besser.

@@markusw2830 Das hattest du schon mal erwähnt. Allerdings hat meiner ja, wie erwähnt OPF und er schafft die 100-200km/h auch in deiner Zeit +- ein bissel, trotz Sports Tourer und eben OPF. Außerdem hat das ja nichts mit dem GPS zu tun. Danach würde meiner ja sogar leicht schneller laufen, als deiner damals, als er noch stock war.

Klasse Motor, hab den im Kombi seit 3 Jahren. Bester Verbrauch 5,4l bei max. 120 und Tempomat. Nach oben hin keine Grenze, aber das ist typisch Turbo. Ich fahre mit 95 Oktan und alle 5000km kommt eine Flasche von dem Liqui Moly Additiv rein.

Hello, I am the owner of a 2016 Opel astra k 1.6 turbo 200 82 000km and I noticed that at idle the car had small blows. It only happens in slow motion. I have the impression that the car is making corrections. Do you have the same thing?

It can happen when you are using 95 octane fuel. In the first generation from 2016 98 octane was recommended.

Hello, Markus W. I drive astra k st 1.6 biturbo. I am very disappointed with the suspension. It's like I'm in a boat. Before that, I drove an astra J , it was perfect. I wonder if I put stiffer springs, if this "problem" will be fixed. But I don't want to lower the suspension. Could you give me some advice on a brand of springs or just advice? Thanks in advance.

Once question. When hoy have keyless start how do you do?. Firstly you unlock airbag, later you desconnect battery and finally you dissasemble steering wheel?

I haven't disabled the airbag 😂, it's not the best idea, I know. Disconnecting the battery disables the airbag. But you have to wait 30 minutes.

Markus have you had no issues with e.g. crankshaft pulley or cylinder head cover, or their carbonization respectively? What oil are you using? I have K 1.6T since very beginning in spring 2016, 170k km on it, I enjoy it very much :) I always used GM Dexos 1 gen. 2. I now hear whistling sound from the pulley and my car mechanic says it may be because of weared, carbonized cylinder head cover with weared sealings, and recommends to replace it. It costs EUR 600... And he recommends to use Motul oil instead of GM, as GM carbonizes a lot. I fear about knocking issues... And thanks for your videos, I watched them all since 2017 :)

I have no problems with the engine at all. Now the cooling system sealing of the turbo has to be replaced and the left front wheel bearing makes some noise. The car has 172k km on it and besides these two minor issues it works like on the first day. Last week I did a flat out of about 40 minutes (150 km) without any thermal issues or any other problems, average speed about 230 kph.

@@markusw2830 My Astra is now in authorized Opel garage. Yesterday they immediately recognized the issue, and it seems to be the issue typically happening on these engines (and on 1.4T's, too) after some mileage (170k km in my case). The cylinder head cover had to be replaced. The old one has stuck air ventilation system because of carbonization, hence the whistling sound. When you once start hearing it on your Astra, it will be very likely the same issue, stop using the car.

Echt super dein Auto überlege mir den K auch zu holen mit 1.6 Turbo. Momenten fahre ich noch den J. Außer dem Chip hast du auch einen Ladeluftkühler ansaugung und downpipe verbaut?

Ja, aber nur als Backup, um die Leistung von Stage 1 sicher haltbar zu fahren. Könnte mehr Leistung fahren, aber hab ich nicht drauf. Aktuell 170.000 km ohne Probleme. Fast alles mit Stage 1.

lane keeping assistant is alway active, there's no special button. But in my car the software doesn't warn to put the hands back to the steering wheel. In good conditions it just steers infinite time on lane keeping assistant.

Hab meinen Adam 1.0 Sidi bei EDS optimieren lassen. Von 115 auf 143 PS. Wahnsinn wie der jetzt läuft. Die Sidi Motoren sind einfach nur Wahnsinn.

Wie viele Kilometer hast du bis jetzt drauf? Ich würde auch die Software machen lassen. deine war von bhp-Motorsport oder? Ansonsten irgendwelche Probleme mit Getriebe etc.? Ist ja glaube ich nur bis 320nm zugelassen oder? Viele Grüße :)

@@juliangolisch4692 der durchschnittliche Verbrauch hat sich mit dem Softwareupdate nicht verändert, um die 7,5 Liter/100km werden es über die gesamte Laufleistung sein. Ich hab von bhp auch die EDS Software drauf bekommen, aber halt mit TÜV Gutachten.

Falls ja, was hast du für die Eintragung gezahlt und hast du es bei der Versicherung angegeben? Habe jetzt auch erstmal Fahrwerk ändern lassen, damit er sich nichtmehr fährt wie ein Schlauchboot :D @@markusw2830

No, the biturbo diesel is way slower. It's the 1.6 petrol engine.

Yours is way faster than mine. when your car is at 200. Mine is at 187. I have a sports tourer combi 1.6 200ps. I had 3 ppl in total in the car. The boot was also 3/4 full. U think that'll make a huge difference? I also hit 239. So that is good. :P

Yes a big difference. Also if you were running anything less than 98ron petrol you'll get less torque at lower/mid RPM's I have one of these engines in my astra GTC 😁

@@A16LES das kommt auf die Fahrweise an. Ich kann ihn auch auf der Autobahn bei 100 kmh mit ca. 5,0 Liter fahren. Aber realistisch sind eben 7 bis 8 Liter, wenn man die Leistung auch mal nutzt. Ich fahre regelmäßig zwischen 150 und 200 kmh auf der Autobahn. Der BC zeigt über die letzten 90.000 km einen Durchschnittsverbrauch von 6,8 Liter an. Aber der BC ist meist 0,5 Liter unter dem realen Verbrauch.
