I received my GCSE grades yesterday and was over the moon with me, it just felt really surreal, but after a few hours I just forgot about them, as if nothing had happened. But as you said, they really don't show your self worth, and I'm not trying to sound ungrateful or show off in any way but I realised how much I didn't care about my grades after getting really good grades, and I hope that anyone that didn't get the grades they expected understands that it really doesn't matter after a while, because it truly won't matter! Love you all

I got messed up by the system as well! I got downgraded both my A* to an A (vid on my channel) which meant I almost missed out on going to Cambridge!! Honestly thank god that they have now changed the way grades are assessed. So hopefully all you guys get the grades you need! But by far its been the most unfair situation I've gone through so far. Subbed for the journey ahead :)

You talking about the non academic achievements like growing as a person is exactly what I needed, I’m waiting for my level 3 extended certificate BTEC to be changed and I honestly haven’t thought about you achievements in that way

absolutely amazing amazing amazing mindset to have. I was incredibly fortunate and my grades were representative of what I thought I was capable of and a huge relief. But this results day was marred with sadness and our generation being let down. But regardless of grades, thinking back to who I was 2 yrs ago, my own personal growth was the biggest achievement and I think that's the same for all 18 yr olds across the UK. x. heart out to all the a level students in the uk
