The fact that this is such a fun movie yet satire of Hollywood but still fells wholesome and innocent... just amazes me.

I’ve seen this wonderful picture three times in the last six years! The only Hollywood movie palace I ever stepped inside was the El Capitan. I never been inside the Chinese Theater but one day I will. It’s any movie buffs dream to see the next big Tinseltown classic in a gorgeous movie palace. I even want to attend a movie premiere too!

Seems like no matter how talented you were, nobody cared about you unless were a star of a moving picture. Nobody cared about Don being musically gifted. They only saw him as a good-looking movie star

She was Gene Kelly's opposite in his previous movie "An American in Paris" and this was a joke to put her to receive his flying kiss right at the beginning of his next movie.
