Glad you guys are talking about the teaching space and where it seems to be going online. We are never ever immune to delusion, and thinking we are will lead to trouble. Angelo’s best advice to me was simply “don’t make any conclusions” - that’s is, right there! How can I conclude anything about this? How can I make an ideology, how can I settle down here and make something out of this? How can I see this has to be this way or that way? This way or that way are out! Free from extremes, from fixation! Rest in that unknown Higher vibrational humans, get on my level kind of teachings, new earth teachings, or the “stop suffering you mere mortal” kind of teachings are all ideologies created and bound in extremely subtle concepts. When listening to any teacher ask, are the pointing to the freedom and mystery that is right before your face? Are they leading you deeper into presence? Or, are they subtly giving you another ideology to believe in. Discernment is an important skill to master on this path😊

Your Well metaphor is so wonderful and beautiful. There's been the same feeling here of the distance and lack of compassion in so many appearing online now. It's feeling as if the person is believing the awakening that's occured in them is the end, instead of just a begining. Thankfully as more and more folks not only awaken but deepen and continue to peel away the layers we can find the core that all this is unconditional love and knowing this is what allows us to get in the well of compassion with each other. There is also gratitude for your talking about Adya and his retirement letter. Here there is so much gratitude to hear that Adya was able to be so clear, wise and loving while living a physically painful human existence. This body was injured over 24 years ago and it's still having chronic pain. It's been this extreme pain that created the space here to fully give myself over to awakening. Thank you for sharing from this space of loving kindness and compassion which is often missing in non dual pointings. Blessings to you both, Namaste 💞🙏

I owe a debt of gratitude to Zubin for having Angelo on his show as I was turning to him for Covid guidance amidst so much confusion a few years ago. It was like finding water in the desert hearing Angelo and Zubin speak about something I’ve never heard humans speak about. Fast forward a couple years and I’m at Angelo’s retreat (a few weeks ago) which wouldn’t be the case without the wonderful messenger, communicator and teacher, Zubin. ❤ So many times during retreat, I saw you walk around the meditation hall during breaks and my heart beamed with gratitude for what you have given so many. Simon is right. You are doing such important work and the world needs you to keep doing it. Thank you Zubin. ❤🙏

I just finished watching this. It was brilliant. It's exactly what is needed -- a reconciliation of trauma and spirituality in compassion. So many spiritual teachers back away from traumatized people by using the politically correct excuse that it needs to be treated with kid gloves. And so many people are not getting the spiritual support they need because of it. Do not make trauma an excuse to turn your back on difficult, suffering, or reactive people!!! Compassion means getting into the dark well with oneself/another. Now let's see you put that into action. I dare you.

Oh my this hit me. Zubin, I was at the retreat in NC. I think we were having parallel processes. I don’t even know where the hell you were sitting in the hall in relation to me, I’m not sure I ever caught glimpse of you once while there, and not until after the fact when debriefing the retreat with car mates on the way to the airport did I think oh maybe I should have said something to Zubin, introduced myself. I’d been “searching” for years, but it was your podcast that introduced me to Angelo but it wasn’t quite what lead to my “first awakening “ in Jan 2022, no that was a depth of despair over my father’s Covid ICU death (everything that was going wrong then did for him, too) and my horrible position within in it as a daughter and a doctor and how it ripped me apart from several aspects of my identity at once. The shame, trauma, anger, horror, despair, I could go on. But my having caught you and Angelo turned out to be a good thing even though I hadn’t been in “searching” mode when I did. I had heard the two of you having your talks as you did when I had been tuning in to you for other reasons initially, often the Covid talk, but seeds were planted w/the Angelo convos. Long story short, the Universe blew open by grace the day after my dad died, I became a supporter of yours on Locals just so I could get your post retreat video TBH because I didn’t know wtf just happened. I felt the grace and beauty for a short while and then pain started and the seeking ramped up. Long story short, because I lied before, I found myself finally on my first in person retreat this year in NC. The things you are saying in this video about what you went through on retreat as well had me in tears. It’s like you were narrating a great deal of my own retreat. My gosh. My gosh. Parallel processes. I don’t know what else to say. Anyway, what a beautiful video this is regardless of this odd little “personal moment” I’m having with it. I’m resonating with so much of it even taking these retreat comments out esp the trauma discussion and the body, the need for true compassion and this tendency of some “teachers” to not get in the well w/ you and the beauty that no matter how realized it is the humanity, yes, the humanity we have to wake up to again and again and again and how do we show up to that again and again and again and do it compassionately? True teachers show us that with truth and grace and yes, humanity, for what else would they show up as? I continue to be astonished at the teachers that keep showing up for me in ways I never expect. Thank you for this. Sorry for a likely convoluted story here, but I after nearly two years I had to reach out to you, Zubin, particularly after these retreat comments that just hit so so close! ❤🙏
