Great stream, I always love your OpenTTD content. It would be awesome if you could explain how some of the signals work (like the ones you put at the depots for example) as you are laying them down, as I usually just use one-way path signals.

Your ability to fit tracks around the mountains is crazy good. Great stream, hope I can catch it live someday. Do you have acceleration settings changed from the defaults? Every time I try to build tracks going uphill, my train ends up losing money or breaking down :(

I´m confused with food supply. How did you manage to train not get lost or get food to every station in orders?

Thanks for this stream. I have one question. I'm trying to make a similar game. But my engine costs are dramatically high (> 1 milj), same as the loans I can get when creating a new game with the settings provided. Trackbuilding costs are very high as well. When loading the savegame these costs are similar like in the stream. Anyone an idea which setting I need to chance to bring this to a similar level. PS: The profit per delivery seems to be "normal". Many thanks

Base costs mod can make terraforming really expensive to discourage it. There's also some console settings construction.terraform_frame_burst, construction.clear_frame_burst, construction.tree_frame_burst, terraform_per_64k_frames, etc. but I'm not sure exactly how they work, I think they only limit the speed at which players can terraform.

As you do that you can add NewGRF during the game ? In my game not worked o.O

You can if you open the console ` and type 'set newgrf_developer_tools 1' But be careful, you can break your save this way!

Sure here is the list from openttd.cfg: hastebin.mingweisamuel.com/ujuhosipaw.cfg It seems that Japanese stations is from the OpenTTDCoop GRF pack: wiki.openttdcoop.org/GRF Easiest way is probably to ignore the cfg and just download the GRF pack and the savegame and use "check online content" though. :)
