You are a genius. In my opinion this goes well beyond the needs of your university degree work. I hope you sell the MB and buy a VAG car and read/write the Bosch ECU with Infineon MCU. Been looking at your project since the beginning and I never thought you will come so far. Perhaps I will buy the Macchina adapter, because of you, but I would prefer a more robust device without a micro USB connector. If you break the protection of VAG ECUs I would like to buy a similar adapter directly from you to support your further work (I think many people would do it).

I have been learning a lot from you. In this video, you said you will implement K-line for m2. I am curious if you are still planning to do it.

Only just come across your work & channel, thoroughly enjoying your ethos and approach. You mention at one point about potentially porting OVD itself to an ESP32 or other MCU - given the recent "surge" in low price ARM SoCs, have you looked at something like the LicheePi Zero ? Low spec but mainline uboot and kernel support now and can be picked up for ~$10-15.
